Any news on Doom 3?

I had thought it was being released sometime this year, but the news releases for it have been very quiet. Anyone have any info?

It's been pushed back to 2004. been that way for a while now. John is spending too much time on the X project..

something about a low-cost rocket. It's like a competition I think that NASA started to get private corporations to start R&D on lowering costs of space travel.

But I would've thought that the engine is at the point where John doesn't need to spend that much time on it. Figured it was pretty much up to the map developers at this point.
