I would get 3 of those, but my BB never has them. Any chance you could grab them for me?

Do they physically mark these down or do you have to ask someone to scan them all to see which ones are marked down?

Usually there is a tag on the item that says .01...however, this time, the items themselves weren't stickered, but there was a printed shelf tag saying the guides were one cent.

I have no problem picking up lots of these guides and shipping them out to people, so what do you think would be a fair price? (I'm a nice guy, but not that nice! ) Shipping media mail is about $1-2...is $4 a guide fair? I'd only accept PayPal...let me know what you think.

Thanks again Flash! Picked up the Brute Force guide. The checker was shocked when it rang up for .01. It was like that Nintendo commercial for the free game.
You're getting my vote for member of the year!

Time to bust out my rewards card and go get me a guide for a penny!!!!!

How many points would I get?

Edit: Just got back from Best Buy... I picked up a Hulk one. My wife freaked 'cause all I walked in with was a quarter in my pocket.

They actually had about a dozen Brute Force, about 4 Hulks, a few Wolverine ones, and I think 2 DK Country's. No Wolfensteins that I saw. Mine was stickered at $14.99, but rang up for $0.01.

[translation] For myself, I purchased four copies of "Brute Force", two copies of "Wolverine's Revenge" and four copies of "Donkey Kong Country." Would anyone be interested in making a trade for a copy of the "Hulk" guide or a "Return to Castle Wolfenstein"guide? [/translation]

I can pick a Hulk one up for you on Monday morning. I'll check for a RTCW for you as well. I might go back there anyways and clean them out and put them up on eBay for $5 a piece.

410 and 281 (San Pedro) in the Northstar Shopping Center.

Just don't clean them out completely... I'm gonna do that tomorrow.

TOPDAWG -- thanks for the offer and I'm glad you liked the translation. By the way, your last sentence should have ends with the plural "posts."

None at my local store here in Avon, IN.

I'll probably check one more in Indy in the next day or so.

I got the FF Origins guide at Bellevue (WA) Best Buy today for .01. They had at least one more copy.

The person at returns who I had check the price made a face when she looked it up, but I got it for the penny.

If anyone finds an extra Nightfire or LOTR guide, I'll swap/pay you for them. I've been to my 3 local BBs and they have been cleaned out.

Those are a listing of guides I found. I might be willing to part with a couple maybe for a swap. No promises though, these next two weeks will be hectic.

my BB had lots of Brute Force guides, but I didn't bother scanning them, so I have no idea what they are ringing up as.
