i got the qcast tuner a few months ago. it's pretty awesome depending on if you have a need for it or not. I use it constantly by downloading movies or tv shows and then watching them on the tv in the other room and it works great.
the only things you might wanna be careful of is that it has a problem currently with high bitrate videos. once in a while I had to resize a movie to allow the player to handle it. also, another large thing that is missing is a fast forward/rewind feature. it's a pretty huge thing that is needed for this to be perfect. it really sucks when you are an hour into a movie and you hit the stop button accidentally and have to restart the entire movie. but on the bright side, they have promised a new update on or before april 15th that will have ff/rew and maybe support for higher bitrates. |
