Enter The Matrix Bonus DVD

Seems BestBuy.com is offering a bonus DVD when you preorder Enter The Matrix for any system. At first I thought it was a free copy of Tha Matrix or another movie but it seems to be a decent bonus DVD.

Here is the info the have on BestyBuy.com:

I really wasn't going to preorder this but I'll take anything Matrix related I can get my hands on.

Why do I keep getting the feeling that this game will end up sucking donkeys?

Perhaps it's because:
1: The constant stream of pre-game hype feels unwarranted.
2: Licensed games almost always disappoint.
3: The PS2 screenshots look slightly less jaggie than the average Atari 2600 game. (let the PS2 bashing begin...)

Has any game ever had this much backing my the makers of the film it is based on? If so please feel free to enlighten me.

From the videos posted on BestBuy.com the game looks good. Nothing that ground breaking but still worth the 49.99.

for the same reasons I feel it might not be as good as the HYPE makes it. though I do want to see the hour extra footage shot just for the game.

LOTR two towers had a lot of help from the film makers. It is a pretty good game.

I dunno about this Matrix game though...It seems too much like the Terminator game...same hype and lack of hands on reviews.

One thing that was a mark down for LOTR was the fact that it had TOOO much movie footage. I was getting annoyed of the clips while playing it.

Not to mention it was passed around from Publisher to Publisher, and when David Perry showed the Wachoski Bros what he wanted to do, he was basing it off the Messiah engine. Member the flying baby that gary Coleman dressed as at E3? An Urban legend aside, when David perry showed the Bros Messiah, he showed the game right up until it had a repeatable crash. But David would quickly stop the game before then. All talk and no show. Don't have any faith the game will be good.

This game is still based on the Messiah engine.

A good engine, just hasn't proved to be a great engine yet.

There have been plenty of hands-on impressions so far that I've seen.
