There's never been weapons in F-zero.

Cars just take damage from crashing into each other and hitting walls. You die instantly if you fly off the track.

The N64 version had a spin attack where you could spin your car around and cause havoc as there were spots you'd have around 30 cars clustered together. There was a weaker side attack too where you just bumped the car beside you. These attacks were pretty important though as you had Rivals, and keeping them from finishing races was one of the keys to winning.

I agree WOW!

I mean, I have never been a huge f-Zero fan but that may be a changin. Sega knows how to capture speed IMHO thanks to work on Sonic and I think it shows.

I think this is inching towards the very top of my want list. It is probably in the Top 5 right now, and could be Number 1 as realease draws near.

I mean, I saved the movie I was so impressed. Not something I do very often.

There is also a trailer on the Zelda bonus disk. I agree that F-Zero looks incredibly sweet!

This one does, too. They did one in the trailer. Check 1:22.
