Free Zelda at EB Games for 3 game trades?
Did anyone else read about this in their magazine??
Everquest Online / Zelda Windwalker / Knights of the Old Republic (XBOX) are FREE after a trade of 3 games.
My question is which games are accepted, and which games are not??? Anyone know??? That could be a decent deal if they will accept some games we've gotten a good deal on.
Thanks for the help.

I tried doing the 2-1 deal before Dec-31, and they told me no. They said that they never heard of this deal. I told them that it was on one of their fliers. They look at me like I was stupid and said they never did this deal. After 10 minutes of arguing they told me to show them the flier and they will give me the deal. But, of course I did not have a copy. So no deal for me.
P.S I went to the store in late Dec.

The thing with these game stores is that these type of sales are usually up to the store or district managers. They are rarely chain wide.
Plus the employees don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. I tried to do the 2 +$9.99 deal for The Sims last week and they said they had never heard of it. Said best deal they had that would work for it was trade 3 and get an extra $10 credit.
So I go back with 3 games and the guy said I only needed to trade two of them and I'd get it for $9.99.
So it's definitely a case of your mileage varying from store to store and employee to employee.
I avoid the game stores as much as I can, only checking in when they're supposed to have a trade in deal, or they have a pre-order special going on.

Whatever happened to the guy that worked for EB on the forum? He used to come in and help out on these matters.
I picked up the flyer in Oct. They had about a hundred of them on the counter. Professional full color, 4 page flyer. Not the copy machine crap they put out now. I thought about not picking it up but grabbed one anyway. I went back in mid- Dec. to do the trade in. Mind you, the SAME store. I had the flyer with me. The employee was clueless. The manager was clueless. I even told them I picked it up at their store. Amazing. Anyway, he didn't really have a problem with it, he just thought it was odd that I was the first(and probably only) one to bring one in, since it is a pretty good deal on Zelda. Anyway, he keyed in my trades at $25 each, and I paid the tax and left with a pre-order receipt.
