Choplifter is coming for PS2
Choplifter
I remember this on Atari 5200. Looks kind of cool for PS2. No word yet about XBox or GameCube but it's still early
Update....
XICAT pushes back release of Choplifter: Search and Rescue to improve on already revolutionary game
Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. – Sept. 27, 2002 – Xicat has moved back the release date for ChopLifter: Search and Rescue to Q1 of 2003. The reason for the delay is to make even more cutting edge improvements on the already revolutionary game, the original release date was scheduled for Nov. 2002. With competition in the genre being so stiff, Xicat’s goal is to make ChopLifter the gold standard for action games.
"We’re taking the extra time to ensure ChopLifter is head and shoulders above anything else out there. We’re adding levels, beefing up the graphics and revamping the score and the interface," says John Linn, Creative Director at Xicat Interactive. "We want players to feel the intense pressure in each level in the game. It will be worth the wait," added Linn.
With ChopLifter: Search and Rescue, lives are on the line, including yours. The game will be available for PlayStation2® in February 2003 (rating pending).
