Ive heard the same thing and wouldnt doubt in sometime next year... what was the MSRP on a PS1 when it first arrived, and now what is it? $149 would probably be the lowest price for XBox and PS2 i would guess

The PSX was $299.99 when first released if memory serves. Its now $49.99.

So yes, the PS2 and others will continue to drop in price. Summer is usually the time for more price drops, but with the competition the way it is it could be anytime. I'm almost sure there will be at least another $50 price drop sometime this year.

I would say that both the PS2 and XBox drop to around $149-169 by May with the Gc going down to $129-119 depending on how much the others drop.

The GC will not drop blow $100 this year unless the others go below the $149 price down to $129.
