Since a lot of games these days are being produced for multiple systems with minimal differences between consoles, strategy guides are being produced so that one guide will cover multiple systems.
Madden's guides fit this description. Don't worry about finding one that specifically says "GameCube" on it. Even though the screenshots will probably show the XBox version (since it usually looks the best, although not by much) and you'll see those buttons pictured in the screens, the strategy will still apply to whatever version you have.
