Splinter Cell removed from Nintendo's Official Gamecube site...

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell was removed from Nintendo's official Gamecube site's game list last week.
Neither Nintendo nor Ubi Soft has given a response as to why.
Screen shots of the PS2 version of Splinter Cell have already been released on Sony's site.

Looks like Splinter Cell may not be coming to the 'Cube...

Likely cause MS has the rights to it right now and wanted Nintendo to take down any mention of it. They did this with Dead to rights.

However, it is possible, but I doubt it since reports are the GC version was coming along great.

I'm not seeing it on Sony's PS site either.. Not listed.. definitely not any screenshots..

So.. I'd have to agree with jeffdsmith.. probably another Dead To Rights type thing.

It might be part of the "exclusivity" deal that Microsoft has with Ubi. Microsoft most likely has a gag order on any information regarding Splinter Cell on other consoles.

Yep, probably just part of the exclusivity agreement. But time will tell for sure.

I don't care that much one way or the other, as it doesn't look like my cup of tea, but I would like to rent it and at least give it a shot after all the hype, so I'd like to see a GC or PS2 port. Preferably GC as it could probably pull of the lighting better than the PS2.
