Thanks Static

Outlaw : Thanks, I like my set up quite a bit...

No more freebies at TRU last I checked

If you check out www.gamefaqs.com they show you how to answer Rovers questions so that you can customize your appearance.

Ghostbusting in AC?

So what do you have to do to get the Ghost to appear? I've played at midnight (just a bit ago, in fact), and had loads of weeds hanging about. Yet - no ghost.

What - did he not set his clock back or something?

i think it's mostly random.

he's around 12-4am. to "get" him you hafta walk over a random spot on the map (?) at least that's what i remember reading (i have yet to see him as well)

Cool thanks, I wanted to avoid checking that site but i found what I needed.

About the ghost, I found the ghost around 1:00-2:00 A.M. when I was playing before going to bed. I think it might be random because my sister has never seen him yet. You can't really look for him, he'll find you when you walk in a certain area and guide you toward him. My advice would be to play every night around 12:30 to 1:30 and play normally as you would walking around, make sure you cover the entire map (not necessarily every spot on the map, but every acre (if that makes sense)), its not too hard to run into him if he's there. So if your trying really hard one night and its a no go, he's probably not there. Happy ghost hunting!

Well, looks like it'll be a couple of late nights for me then.

BTW - did anyone notice that there's a code generator for a Donkey Kong Jr up on http://www.animal-crossing.com ? It's a brand new banner ad at the top of the main page - I clicked on that accidently.

(I love the Haunted House decor listed on the style page. I gotta get me some of that this thursday!)

***EDIT*** BTW - I called around to the local TRU, CompUSA and Software ECT about the AC cards. Toys R Us said they were coming out "soon", and CompUSA was even more vauge. Software ECT, on the other hand should have them in Tuesday.

So - get out there and make some calls. You might hit a batch of cards!

So how many entries does everyone have for this month's drawing? This month I have at least 30 entries so I'm hoping that should be enough to win everything. If not I'm going to be very disappointed.

1 entry = 5 floor items purchased

So you bought 265 items in Nooks store this month?

Thats right I mean 53 entries. Not 10. I bought so many items, I guess it comes to 265, (good math) items this month at Nooks. Each shirt, umbrella, Wallpaper, Carpet and items gives tickets and I buy it all with exception to one or two here that I didn't want to deal with getting rid of or I know I'd get burned by trying to sell. I'd buy as much as I could per day. Figure 15 items = 3 entries per day x 29 days would be 87. I have 53.. geez I'm slipping.

Seriously, all I would do is fish and sell. Use the money to buy items. Resell them back, use the shirts to give out in letters, trade and bury some items on my island. I had a good system down where with 15,000 a day I could buy intially, sell and trade and sorts, and come back contuing to buy. I wanted as many chances as possible to win the cool items. I store all the tickets in my bungalow on the island. If I can get a screen shot I'll show you

Ugh I hope I didn't screw up!

I NEVER set my clock forward..NEVER NEVER... well almost never. I was visiting a friends house this weekend and he just got the game. I wanted to give him fruit as a gift and since I had just harvested my whole twon, I set the clock forward JUST TO GET FRUIT. Unfortunately, this totally screwed up my 90K money tree but...I didn't realize that the date I set it to was Halloween! As soon as it started, there was an announcement telling everyone to put on their costumes. I imidiately hit reset and et the date back to the real date. I hope I still get to play inthe Halloween game on Halloween!

NES games do occasionally show up at the raffle, so good luck!

Here is a tip that I'm sure everybody probably already knows about, but I just discovered by mistake.

If you need to drop or sell multiple items you don't have to choose them all individually. Instead, select all of the items you want to get rid of with the X button, then click on one of them with "A." You'll get the option "Sell All?" or "Drop All?" Saves a LOT of time at Nook's.

Can someone please explain the appeal of this game. I bought this game on Oct 5, played a little bit, until Tom Nook told me to come back the next day. I didn't play for 3 weeks, so I put it in yesterday and play some more. I finished all the jobs for Tom Nook, and have been wandering around town. I've picked up pears, I got some new carpet, bought a shovel and did some errands for the townsfolk. Where are all the interesting things? I walked throughout the entire town but I don't see anything that would pique my interest enough to play it more. Should I have someone move into my town? Does this help? Is this game only to be played for 30 mins a day?
