PS dance mat for the DC?

Does anyone know if you can hook a playstation dance mat up to a dreamcast? If so, what do I need and are there any disadvantages? Also, do you know if you can use any dance mat for Dance Dance Revolution? Thanks a bunch.

Here's the mat my friend wants to get rid of:

Dance pads work for all of the DDR games. As for using a PS pad on a DC, you will need a controller converter.

I bought a PS->DC pad converter at www.levelsix.com that works fine with my dance pad.

Thanks for the help. I wish the converters weren't so pricey at levelsix. A pair of them shipped comes to about $30. I wish I had found their $20 DC dance pads earlier (out of production now). Any cheaper places for either converters or pads?
