I am 'spring cleaning' and am about to throw away a box of old CDs, mainly demo discs from magazines like PC Gamer and CGW.

I hate to throw things away. Does anyone want them or know of anyone who might? These go back to the mid 90s.

Going thru this box (#1 of 2 or 3), I'm finding that is really is all junk.

Almost entirely demo discs and magazine discs. I've found a few videos and wav files to save off some of them, and I think I'll end up saving every PC Gamer disc just to have a historical archive of demos and patches (did I mention I'm a packrat?).

But I'm just going to toss most of them. I make myself sad thinking that I've saved these all these years and have even moved them a couple times........

I've been keeping all of my PCGamer demo discs too. The first issue I bought came with the 3.5 diskette of Blackthorne. I also have some older games like NBA Live 2000, NHL 99, CyberJudas. Might dig up a full list sometime.

Sorry, I know that I didn't give you guys much time, but I've already thrown most of them away. If you're local to me (northern VA) I could still dig them out of the trash and find a few more that I haven't sorted thru yet. Trust me, they're not worth you paying me to ship them to you.

Although if I had a smaller income, I probably have a million entertainment hours on these 'free' discs.
