Help with trading/selling gamecube
I have a gamecube, mem card, two games and three extra controllers that are gathering dust. I want an x-box. It is way too late to return to the store. I am wondering what people think is the best way to turn this stuff into an x-box without getting ripped off. Are there stores that take trade ins (I'm in Chicago btw)? And if so, how much should I expect to get? I have never used ebay before so I am a little leary of selling something this big for the first time. I may post a trade in the video game exchange area of this forum but I am open to other ideas. Thanks.

selling on Ebay or Amazon is nothing to be afraid of. Simply don't sent it until you receive payment. Also, offer your buyer the option of buying insurance on the shipment.
as far as selling locally, I know Funcoland takes trade-ins. You could probably call them and they'd give an idea of how much to expect. I'm sure there are a ton of other stores in Chicago that buy/sell used video games, too.
Trading here is, of course, a good option, too.

i know eb buys back stuff, but the payout ain't all that great.
ebay is not a bad option, you might get more if you list all seperately
if you want to trade the exchange forum is a good place.
if you trade the whole thing as a bundle, you'll probably get an xbox

EBay is fine for big sales. Just make sure you receive, deposit, and verify the payment before you ship it.
That's how I sold my PS2 and games last July. I have also sold a few items more expensive and every one has turned out great.
I even have a few items on Ebay right now.
