PS2 Console for $210 with Amex Blue at Virgin Megastores thru 12/26

I saw a similar post about their sale but I thought it was worth reposting because it doesn't really mention the PS2 deal. Everything instore is 30% off with Amex blue including their PS2s, games, DVDs, etc. I believe they have Xbox and Gamecube bundes also.

I just called the Phoenix store to confirm the $210 price. This is a hell of a deal! I know you could make an easy $50 per console on Ebay. I just signed up for the Blue card through Ebaaaates and they credited my Ebaaaaates account $15. The Amex card is free too.

Schweeeeet!

there is a promotion where you spend $50 and get a $100 in coupons for a future visit. Does this mean you can combine with the AMEX Blue deal? Does anyone know more details about this second promotion - I looked at the site and it seemed that the details applied to both these promotions together. If you can combine, that deal would be unbelievable.

Yes, I just bought a PS2 ($210), a GBA ($70), and a GBA game ($28) + Tax, and I have received 6 coupon booklets (1 every $50). And it was in the Union Square store in NYC.

Anyone know what kind of Gamecube bundle they have? I just happen to be going down to Orlando this weekend and I see that there's a Virgin Megastore down there.

The $100 coupons they offer are various discounts on future purchases I believe.

I called the LA Virgin and the lady said the GC bundle was mem card, Luigi, Waverace, and extra controller for $369-$399... I forget which. I know the Xbox bundle was $469, so maybe GC was $369, too.
