Best TENNIS Video Game ?

Tennis is one of my fav sports

Most tennis video games have been a disappointment particularly in the gameplay department

the only one i felt really felt like tennis was Super Tennis on the Super Nintendo

any other good ones ?

Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast is highly regarded as one of the best Tennis games.

The way I see it, you have Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast, then everything else. I've played the Nintendo offerings and, while good, still don't match up (no pun intended). Plus, VT offers a more serious version of the game, whereas Mario Tennis--well, y'know.

My understanding is that Tennis 2K2, featuring female players, is still planned. I'm hoping that Sega will bring this to other consoles.

What kind of question is this? Virtua Tennis by a virtua mile. Mario Tennis is a good game, but it is not nearly as good as Virtua Tennis. Virtua Tennis would be perfect if there were more players and real-life competitions instead of made up names.

I know there are several more tennis games out there. ISnt there one called Agassi Smash Tennis or something like that? IS Virtual Tennis made for PSone?

Namco's "Super Family Tennis" for the SFC. Virtua Tennis can't hold a candle against its sheer fun factor.

I remember reading some big comparison between Virtua Tennis and Mario Tennis in which Mario Tennis was the better title. After playing both titles, there is no doubt that Virtua Tennis is 10x better.

I own the title and have found it to be the most-wanted game when friends come over. Incredible gameplay and lastibility, a must-own.

Virtua Tennis by a mile...

On car trips, I break out Tennis for the gameboy, even bought 2 copies so I could link up and play another passenger. I just enjoy playing Tennis games, maybe it's because I suck at the real thing
