Man, just take it back to Wal-Mart or Best Buy and say it was a gift & you'd like to exchange it for another game. Not illegal, I don't think...the game isn't even opened. I've done this with dvds and they never even ask why.

In my area BB wont take *anything* back w/o a receipt. sealed or not. Not too sure about walmart. you can add target, and toys r us to the no take back w/o receipt rule
