I could rant about the fan service, but it was well written and the dialogue top notch. Waiting for fan art of the Night King riding Rhaegal and wall papers of the dragon destroying the wall.
Gotta love hot incest love!

The dialogue was a tad naive in places, especially near the beginning, but overall a great finish to the season. That should more than suffice to keep all of use counting the days until they finally air the last season.
Note that we did not see Tormund and Beric die, so still a chance at a hilariously awkward Tormund/Brienne romantic interlude, the only coupling worth waiting for now.

Simply amazing episode. Can't believe Cersei made it out alive, but looks like she is on her own now.
1. Hint of Cleganebowl to come!
2. Littlefinger finally got his.
3. The Ice Dragon looks like it moves fast.

I like that the episode slowed down from last week and this was more of about the drama that sets up everything next season. I sort of respect Cersei as she don't give a shit as she's going out on her terms.
And the line of the night, "So your brother has to chosen to align himself with the cockless?"

I predict Jon takes an overnight boat ride from Dragonstone to Quarth and heads back to Oldtown picking-up Sam after breakfast, then back to the Wall where he finds Ghost around brunch time, gives him a pep-talk, Ghost sprints to King's Landing arriving for Lunch, with a message to Cersei. Cersei'll send a response sending her entire army to the wall getting there for the early-bird and back to King's Landing for Diner. That should cover the the first scene of the show.
But it'll be really well made, have aweS@@@@@@@me drgns!!!!!!111111.
Sorry, also sarcasm Heck Djariya, I'm glad you enjoy the show. I wish I was in your camp, it sure would be more pleasant than be pissed off about it! At least this is the last one

after complaining in one of the previous threads about the sansa/arya storyline, I am definitely happy to see it end the way it did.
I actually thought maybe the Mountain would kill Jaime right there and when Bronn found out he'd say "screw this", give orders to the men as if they came from Jaime and head north.
Oh, and Varys was just creepin in the background of a bunch of scenes but never got a word in.

I didn't have closed captioning on, was Jon's real name "Aegon"? Thought that's what I heard.

see ... Cersei does still have some humanity about her. 2! members of her "traitorous" family directly asked her to kill them .. and she didn't!

I'm curious how the fuel for a dragon's fire works. Is it like snake venom, where eventually they'll run dry if they don't have time to produce more?
I figure with the ice dragon there's probably some magic involved.

Well last week I kinda predicted Arya and Sansa were gaming Littlefinger. i don't know if they were the whole time but glad to see that they did at the end.
Walker dragons shoot Plasma rays?
Was expecting big things from a season finale with only a 6 episode season left. I'm left a little dissapointed other than with littlefinger. We all already knew about Jon and figured on seeing the walker dragon.
Well, i guess this means next season will be nonstop - Walker War, Cerci's War,Hound -vs-Mountain, Yara's rescue, Red beard banging the big blonde, Ghost might show up, and lots of death

Did Arya know beforehand that Sansa was going to name Littlefinger the traitor, and was just playing along, or did she think she was really going to be killed in that room?
I like Tormund and Beric, but I wish they were given an on-screen death. I hate that there might be some (stupid/ridiculous) way they escaped the whole wall collapsing.
Cleganebowl pretty much confirmed!

Well only half the wall collapsed. Tormund and Beric were on the safe half.

Loved that Littlefinger was still trying to talk his way out...after his throats was slit.

I loved the parlay at the beginning, especially seeing all the reunions. The Sansa/Arya payoff wasn't that surprising (as soon as Littlefinger started setting Arya up, I figured the tables would get turned by the end of the season and she and Sansa would team up).
I know I'm supposed to be shocked by Jon and Dany getting together, especially right after the big "revelation" that he's her nephew, but it was so obvious that's where it was going, and the Targaryens are all about the incest, so no big deal.
What really bugged me was the wall coming down. I can't remember if I'm bringing in stuff from the book, but isn't the Wall supposed to be magically enchanted to keep the undead out? Mance Rayder was supposed to be looking for a horn (that he never found) that would bring the Wall down. He never found it, but the Night King should have used that instead of the dragon. Was that purely a book thing?
As others have pointed out, the way it played out, the expedition last week wound up fucking everyone over, since without the dragon, the Wall would still be standing and the undead stuck in the north.
