I really can't stand how there are masses that want this to happen. And I'm sure it will in the season finale or something.
Spoiler:
It will, you hit it on the head

Lyanna had black hair. The seed is strong.

Did anyone else see how they really emphasized Dany making physical contact with Jorah? If he's not really cured, that could be something interesting.

Jorah is cured.

He's cured. They won't go back to grayscale this late in the game.

I won't get too much into the books but:

Spoiler:
A point is made that there is an external and internal component of the disease and it could lay dormant and reappear later.

However, I tend to agree with you that with eight eps left, that's likely not going to be a plot point. Not sure he's "cured" though. They could always just have it come back near the end of the series and have Jorah go off into Westeros.

Sure, that's possible. But I don't think they'd sentence Dany, Sam and everyone else Jorah has touched since leaving the Citadel to death. That's a bit too big of a "fuck you"

I believe if you have the blood of the dragon like Dany does, then you don't get sick along with not burning. In the books, she goes about treating and giving aid to people with a plague-like illness and doesn't get sick.

I'm probably just looking too close at everything. Trust me, I definitely do not want that to be the end of the story...

And Sam and Gilly and Sam Jr could all die of dysentery on the way back North. Totally plausible, potentially interesting, but not fantastic story-telling.

I have been saying for 10 years that Jon was the LEGITIMATE son of Rhaegar and Lyanna, so cool to actually have it confirmed. The Tower of Joy scene makes no sense otherwise.

Really like this episode maybe best of the year for me. It was more layered and nuanced.

Really thought Jon would get a dragon this episode.

Also for those complaining about time in this show, Samwell basically confirmed that we are years and years in passing time

Re: Game of Thrones (S7E05) -- "Eastwatch" -- 8/13/17

One thing I think may happen before the end of the season is
Spoiler:
the death of Ser Jorah in combat. Since he's fighting next to Jon Snow and basically doing NW stuff, he's redeeming his father's honor. Perhaps Jon does something of a suicide move to take out some White Walkers/Others and survives a great fire. Jorah puts the pieces together and before he dies asks Jon to please take care of Danerys.

May not happen, but I don't think this series needs another stupid love triangle at this point. Also, if the no name servants are the only ones who bite it when they find what they're looking for, then the show has truly jumped the shark.

I think there will be a few big deaths during these last two episodes

Re: Game of Thrones (S7E05) -- "Eastwatch" -- 8/13/17

Okay, let's rank who is most likely to die next week :
My rankings

1: Ser Jorah Mormont
2: Thoros of Myr
3: Beric (but not both Thoros and Beric -- too tidy)
4: Tormond
5: The Hound (will be spared for inevitable Cleganebowl)
6: Gendry (wouldn't be brought back after 4 years to be killed off immediately, right?)
7: Jon Snow (Duh)

I wonder if one of the 7 will become a wight instead of them capturing one. I'm looking at you Gendry, Jorah, and eye patch guy!

It's such a ridiculous complaint. We have 8 episodes left and people want to watch Jon sailing in a boat for half of that time?

I would hate to lose The Hound in the next episode. I would like to see a scene with him and Sansa (his little bird) and Arya. Also, he has to take on his brother one more time.

He's not her half-brother. He's her nephew. Jon's father was Daenery's brother.

I'd hope so, because Jon Snow went from getting into a boat at Dragonstone to the Wall between scenes!

The Hound is a toss up. Everyone expects him to keep surviving every season just so we can see him face The Mountain again, so it's not out of left field for this show to go in a different direction. We might get the Mountain vs one of the Dragons instead. He is the best weapon Cersei has left, and I expect her to work him into whatever she is plotting.
