Thought that was a mistake by Ryan. Not so much in the vote out as Roark was probably a much more dangerous player for him than Chrissy is, but more that he didn't get Ali on board with it.

As he said he had to blind side one alliance member. If you are going to do that then you blindside the one leaving not the one staying.

Chrissy is so obnoxious.

Really having trouble liking any of these boring instantly forgettable people.

I'm loving this season. I honestly didn't know who the fifth would be.

Same. Nobody stands out at all. By this point in the season, I usually have at least a favorite or a villain I can root against.
Bad move by Ryan though. The blindside wasn't worth pissing Chrissy off for. They always play up the next episode more than it turns out to be, but I she looked pissed at the end of Tribal

Re: Survivor (S35E05) -- "The Past Will Eat You Alive" -- 10/25/17

I am enjoying the season, but I also keep yelling JFC at my tv (and apologizing to the big guy immediately after my outbursts) at how stubborn players are on this season and good lord how can they have not learned how to play the game by reviewing the prior 34 freaking seasons of Survivor to get a clue on how to get yourself and your team farther ahead in the game.

First you had Patrick not giving someone else a chance at a challenge and then you had I believe it was Chrissy last night not stepping off the beam to let someone else complete the ball maze challenge, just so much dumb and stubborn behavior that does not endear folks to other members of their tribe on this season.

Cole's eating etiquette on the island has to change, it was stomach churning watching him eat and all that double dipping..bleargh

I wish Chrissy and Cole were more likable players, but they seem to lacking some charisma that would have me being okay with them as potential winners, but I did like how Desiree seemed to come into her own as a solid contestant last night.

Not the worst season, but yeah...even the underdogs like Mike, Lauren, and Ryan are missing that spark that usually has me cheering folks like them on, although I do like them better than some of the other folks who really think they are more interesting players than what we are seeing on the tv every week. Also, Ali is still hot and I hope her raging at another player next week does not get her booted out anytime before the she can join the jury.

Good season for knocking out things like balancing the checkbook while watching.

I have to agree with everyone. I can't recall a season when the contestants were so dull and/or obnoxious. And in the past, the obnoxious ones were usually somewhat interesting. Not so this season.

About the only two who are tolerable is the guy who was startled by the bamboo noise and the attractive black girl, who unfortunately believes whatever the probation officer guy tells her. Sorry, can't remember their names.

They need to do an emergency merge and try to salvage this season.

I'm sure the World Series impacted the ratings last night (GREAT game!), but I'm curious as to how it's doing overall as compared to last season.

As I recall, Probst promoted this season somewhere saying the audience would love how it all wraps up (or something to that effect). Since he was pushing the end rather than the beginning, I kind of wondered if that meant we were supposed to approach the season with some patience (if you know what I mean).

Another episode, another waste of 40 minutes. But I'm the type that must now see how this ends. Hopefully Ashley makes it to the end. Her face is suffering from being on the island, but that body (ass!) makes up for all.

There have been several seasons that have started out dull, but have caught fire (or at least generated some sparks) about the time the merge happens.

Google Philip Survivor pink underwear. There is a long-standing tradition of unattractive survivors inflicting this upon the viewers.

Maybe I'm just not remembering these examples, but in the good previous seasons, the cast still had some stand-out members from the beginning. I can't think of any I would rank up there with even the most average of memorable players from previous seasons. This could easily be the next season that basically gets skipped when they look to bring back past favorites.
