Also, Ramses is clearly not on the producer's radar, -they barely acknowledge him unless they need to feed him clichéd "geek" lines to read.
Spoiler:
Because Jessica & Cody want Josh to go home, right now the house is 7-3 in favor of sending Ramses home, just so Jessica doesn't get what she wants. The 3 voters not in on the plan are Cody, Mark & Elena. Josh is playing up the part and purposely acting sad and depressed so that Jessica and the 3 don't catch on.

Right. And this is going to blow up when Jessica is back stabbed at the eviction ceremony. But how stupid are you for believing Paul? How stupid are all of them?

The weird thing is that I didn't think Paul was that great of a player despite how far he made it last time, but he's a genius compared to these folk. I guess experience and some amount of celebrity really do matter.

The other houseguests are giving him credibility that they wouldn't give a new player doing the same things.

...and production's giving him a hand...

Josh would be a perfect goat to take to the end. He would lose to antbody.

You never know in this game. If the other player ticked everyone else off, well, let's just say I don't expect this cast to vote for the worthy.

Josh clearly has some mental health issues. Still, I'd love to see him with Zingbot.

According to Joker's Kevin told Jessica about Ramses being voted out. Of course, everybody else is still lying to her about their votes. Everybody assumes that Jessica got the temptation, though they don't know what it is or the curse that follows (they expect to find out tonight).

Even if you don't want Paul out, I don't understand why you wouldn't put him up. Paul is the most likely to sway the vote in Josh's favor. Put Paul up and you eliminate Josh's biggest ally. Strange move from Jessica, even stranger that Cody didn't push for her to do that.

Re: Big Brother 19 Season Thread Premieres June 28th

Aren't they convinced that Paul is on their side against Josh?

Josh is just as dumb doing Paul's bidding and putting a bigger target on his back for what will turn out to be a dubious amount of loyalty.

Cody is going to explode. The guy is like sociopathic. "I'm so proud of/in love with Jess because she showed an uncanny ability to crush a man's heart in her hands."

The terrible thing is, will anyone even realize Ramses is gone?

Josh is actually a classically trained British actor named Nigel Pennyworth.

I would love a Joe Schmo like twist. At least it would explain why these people are crazy and terrible at the game.

Oh, Christ, Matt's a nasty motherfucker.

Raven gave him a handjob. Matt then walks into the kitchen, wipes the cum off his stomach with the towel they dry dishes with, and then puts it back.

Re: Big Brother 19 Season Thread Premieres June 28th

I'm almost out on this show yet again. I have no love for Cody and Jessica but man do I feel sympathetic for them with the way the rest of the house is right now, especially considering the majority of Paul's alliance can't win anything to save their life. The only person I'd actually want to win is Kevin, and he's like the very definition of a floater.

The only bright side is that these guys have to smarten up once Cody and Jessica are gone. They can follow Paul like sheep right now but they absolutely have to get him out next because they have no chance against him... they can't win comps, they as of yet have no gameplay, there's nothing that would have a jury pick any of them over Paul.

Re: Big Brother 19 Season Thread Premieres June 28th

I'm surprised they actually kept that Mark and Cody conversation in for two reasons
1. Cody himself admits that there's no way he's winning the game. And that they got entirely screwed over by production reintroducing Paul and then keeping him safe.
2. Mark actually openly states that he reacts that way because he used to be bullied and that it's disgusting how the rest of the house guests either stand idly by or snicker.

That second point is huge, because if nothing else, this show elevates bullying to another level. Cody and Jessica and Mark are no saints but it must really suck to be ostracized and constantly degraded by the majority of the house and have no escape, and then on top of that to have Josh in there...

Also Reddit reminded me that Paul was a bully last year too, especially to Bridgette, and it just makes me angrier.

And Elena's a scumbag. Jumped ship, is in on Paul's plan, blames Mark for blowing up at Josh while standing there watching him get teased for basically standing up for his friend, the very thing she would never do.

Re: Big Brother 19 Season Thread Premieres June 28th

I'll be curious if tonight they'll show Paul plotting to get Cody to self-evict by attacking his military veteran status: the group did, and it went over badly on social media and (presumably) "Production" told Paul to cool it.

It's an interesting group this year, -a lot of "broken" characters all tossed together, -probably one reason why "Big Brother Canada" was much more entertaining to watch than this bunch.

Re: Big Brother 19 Season Thread Premieres June 28th

Paul seems like a self absorbed jerk and bully. If he acted like this in the real world he'd be laying on his back a few times a day. Seems very different than his previous season. I guess he sees more celebrity in doing this and knows he'll be protected and have his image managed - it's kind of sad that CBS is so blatantly enabling it. They had to get a really crazy cast and heavily manipulate the show in order to push their star through the game.

Also Raven seemed likable at first, but now not so much.

If you didn't know, it may not shock you to learn that (at least going into last season) the 24 year old man still lives at the home under the care of his extremely wealthy parents. That may explain a lot.
