Can't figure out the strategy for this release method but I'm planning to DVR the whole lot of them and then watch in a few weeks when my other shows have finished up their seasons.

Is there some strange irony in this? A show about time travel has to be watched all at once at a prescribed time?

I thought season 1 was great. Season 2 got bogged down under it's own weight. The actress that plays Jennifer was terrific though. She helped the show along until it righted itself by the end. Just finished the first block. So far I'm liking it. They seem to be keeping the storyline simpler instead of trying to expand on an already complex and convoluted mythology. The heart of the show is Cole and Cassie so I'm hoping they get more screen time together.

Last night I felt a little confused at first but quickly re-acclimated my brain and follow the story like a Star Trek episode.
Best analogy I can think of is a language you know but haven't spoken for a real long time. Put in a situation where you need that language there is a short period of acclimation and it's like you never stopped using it.

I tried., but it didn't take long to be reminded of how much I grew to hate this show. I do like the way they binge-aired the season though.

If I missed most of season two, will I have a problem picking up the story with episode one of season three?

Finished the second block today. I've really enjoyed the story so far. Episode 5 was a blast. I like that the show is moving along at a quicker pace than season two.
There an article about why SyFy might have programmed the show like they did: http://www.tvguide.com/news/syfy-12-...-event-review/

Watched the first few episodes.
Seems a lot more streamlined and coherent than last season, like they're building towards something that was missing from the last season.
I wonder if the crew that worked on the show is pissed that the network decided to burn these off over the weekend. Probably.

I recorded these this weekend while getting caught up on the past seasons. I'm eager to get to them but, it's been raining a lot so of course the satellite signal has been in and out so I'll probably end up missing a few things.

I binged this season over the weekend. The heist episode was hysterical, and a light fun caper, a total shift in tone from the normal episodes, that I felt worked really well. I do like the overall arc of the season, although I'll hold of discussing the ending more until more people have caught up.
For those asking about "diving in" to the series, I will say that I originally found the pilot episode weak, although with potential. I feel the show got better as the first season went on and led to a great season finale. I also liked the second season, liked the third, and am looking forward to the fourth and final season.

I haven't seen the first season since it aired but I remember it starting out somewhat slow. It was only when things started falling into place near the end that it became awesome.
This third season is right in line with the second season, good stuff if you like complex time travel plots.

Easily the best season. The finally gave us more Crazy Jennifer. Emily Hampshire is superb in this season.

Just finished this (took about a week for me to finish)
This was beyond phenomenal. One of the best seasons of television I have ever seen. I was surprised by the quality of writing between seasons 1/2 vs season 3. It seemed like a totally different show at times, in a good way.
Loved the 1891 London scenes and the quick character development of Ethan was impressive.
The music was top notch as well.
A++ season and an Emmy nomination is deserving, but we all know that will never happen. Emily Hampshire deserves an Emmy nod too.
Absolutely fantastic. I liked this better than Timeless.

I was getting tired of this series by the end of the second season, and had considered dropping it, particularly with the way they were presenting season three. However, I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. Season Three was much more focused and seemed to be intended to "fix" what was wrong with the previous season. It seemed to be more character-driven.
I was particularly surprised to see James Callis as "The Witness" and the episodes featuring his character were quite poignant (though he apparently shares his father's inability to get a really close shave).

Just finished it. If there is ever a show that is helped immensely by a binge watch, it is this. Very good season. Lived the period parts, London specifically.

We made it through 9 of the ten episodes in two days, wanted to finish last night but my wife couldn't make it. Really enjoyed season 3, I think like others this show benefits from binge watching. Also, that heist episode was awesome, so different then their regular plots and tone but really enjoyable.
Seems they like to use a lot of old Galactica actors in this show, which is never a problem.

The best thing about season three was it always seemed to know where it wanted to go. Season two took too long to find that focus. It also helped that they abandoned some of the self imposed "rules" for who can time travel.
