So Michael gave his explanation to Lincoln tonight on what happened with him in the last 7 years. Only thing that he neglected to mention was how he miraculously recovered from an apparent terminal brain tumor. But logic has never been the strong point of this show.
I hope Sarah doesn't buy Jacob's explanation. It's so obvious he's a plant and was trying to cover his tracks.
No big surprise the gay inmate got killed off.
This episode must have blown most of its budget getting the rights to the Queen music.

Nostalgia is great and all... but some things just don't need to come back.

I've been forcing myself to watch this since it's only 9 episodes but I'm not sure if I'll make it. It's been really bad so far.

I actually enjoyed 24. Pale in comparison to what it used to be but I found it better than this mess.

Michael getting his brother out of Fox River was the reason we watched PB.
Oh well, it's just 9 eps.

Plot-logic aside, I think the thing that has kept this being much more watchable than 24: Legacy is the returning cast members and their chemistry.
Miller and Purcell have always had good chemistry as Michael and Lincoln and were great together on Legends.
As I mentioned before, Is Sucre even going to be used this season? 5 episodes have aired, he's on the opening credits, but he only appeared in the 1st episode.

IGN reviewed the episode and they gave it a 7.1 out of 10. They like Michael and Lincoln, but they think the villains are weak.
I agree with them about the Jacob (apparently being bad) subplot needing some more meat to it.

Even T-Bag only shows up to deliver a couple supposedly funny lines and then disappear again. It's Tony on 24 Legacy all over again where characters return, but they get minimal screen time compared to the new characters, and what scenes they do get are very lame.
But like Legacy I'm going to finish this one out. Probably will never think about the season again in my lifetime, but now I want to see what they came up with for the end.

I'm actually enjoying this so far. Just wish they would at least try with continuity. Like someone else mentioned, how could they not address the brain tumor which killed him to begin with? I'm sure there are other cont errors I could think of if the final season / The Final Break were viewed recently & was still fresh in my head.

Their love story was done years ago. Let Michael save her one last time.

Jeez Michael listen to Lincoln for once ... Otherwise good episodes. Still don't believe Sarah's husband is a good guy but if he wasn't the shot in the leg did seem a bit overbeard.

Catching up, up to this episode
It's not that bad ! i'm entertained ! yes there are lots of roll eyes moments (one of my pet peeves happened a few eps back when the remaining guard in the prison with the assault rifle just let one of the prisoners walk up and be close enough to him to grab his gun, instead of shooting him in the leg when he got even slightly close)
the cast chemistry is still good. I like the Sara and T bag team up
The escape scenes have been exciting flawed by exciting
Not quite as good as the movie No escape but not bad

This show gets more ridiculous with every single episode, and I love it. I will watch till the end.
