"Backfire" - An investigative journalist shocks the White House when he reveals classified information during a press briefing and leaves Seth struggling to contain the damage from the leaked story. Meanwhile, Hannah unearths a key connection between MacLeish and the conspiracy, on ABC's "Designated Survivor," WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT).
"Designated Survivor" stars Kiefer Sutherland as Tom Kirkman, Natascha McElhone as Alex Kirkman, Adan Canto as Aaron Shore, Italia Ricci as Emily Rhodes, LaMonica Garrett as Mike Ritter with Kal Penn as Seth Wright and Maggie Q as Hannah Wells.
"Backfire" was written by Sang Kyu Kim & Pierluigi D. Cothran. Tara Nicole Weyr is the director.
"Designated Survivor" is from The Mark Gordon Company and ABC Studios. David Guggenheim is the creator and executive producer. Executive Producers are Simon Kinberg, Mark Gordon, Jon Harmon Feldman, Nick Pepper, Suzan Bymel, Aditya Sood and Kiefer Sutherland.

I also expected the FBI guy to shoot himself after Wells left. And he still might.
I'm trying to figure out where they're going with Aaron. Most likely he's a distraction and the bad guy will be someone we don't expect, maybe Seth.
Wells has a little too much leeway for being just an agent. It's like she doesn't have to answer to anyone higher up.
