Premieres tonight at 10pm after the Winter Finale of The Blacklist. Will take over The Blacklist's timeslot until April.
Trailer:
Since it's only an 8 episode season, I'm only going to do 1 thread for this. Probably unlikely this series will get a lot of weekly talk here.

Hopefully these eight Redemption episodes won't be complete garbage like what most of season 4 of The Blacklist has been so far.

I am not looking forward to this, but feel obligated to check it out so I'm complete with my Blacklist storylines.
Though I have no problem dropping the show if I don't like it. I had no problem dropping Fear the Walking Dead. When they do a crossover with those shows, I'll be half lost haha

The black guy seemed pretty unrepentant before, I'm not sure why he's on a show with "redemption" in the title.

Always hard to watch O'Quinn and not think of the many guys he played in the past. The daddy character they have him playing in this one comes off a lot like early John Locke. They really toned down Matias in that first episode. Hopefully is back to his usual self in the next one.
Not sure if we are supposed to be buying it or not, but it seems really silly that Scottie doesn't know that Tom is her kid and that daddy is still alive.

I thought this was a pretty breezy episode...not as heavy handed as the Black List. Still I will need a couple episodes to see if I am enjoying the direction it is taking. Not sold just yet.

Watched 10 minutes and decided to drop the show. Truthfully, it wasn't awful. I just have zero interest in this spin-off.
I despise each character on this show. Of course I viewed them as villains on Blacklist, but now I'm supposed to root for them? Nope.

I think I would have more enthusiasm for this spin-off if The Blacklist had been good this season. The Blacklist is now alternating good seasons with poor ones.

I've been enjoying this short spin off season. Especially Terry O'Quinn. Also like the tech dude. Hopefully the Kaplan story continues on the other Blacklist.

This spinoff was kinda boring. Even more boring than the already-boring current season 4 of The Blacklist.

It's not clear what "redemption" means in the context of this show. Very little evidence of such on screen

I liked the spinoff... it was par for the course as far as "The Blacklist" goes.
Leaves it wide open now that Tom knows that he was played on all sides... I guess he's got to go after his dad now and rescue his mom.
If it truly spins off into it's own series, I'd still watch it.

Watching this on Vudu (free with commercials for the free credits). Actually enjoying it quite a bit, works well as a short series. May have to catch up on the parent show, stopped watching shortly after Liz had the baby.
