A good episode with great performances, but kind of felt like a social commentary that is unrelated to the rest of the show. It just seem to be an one and done episode, and we are probably not gonna see the Chuck Palmer character ever again.

So who was the real author or guy this episode was based on?

Another really strong episode. Loved the guest star they brought back in the ER scene. That was a cool reveal. That Marnie - Desi counseling session was hilarious. I'm curious how the rest of the season will play out.
They need to give Shosana something to do this season.

The Russian director was hot.
The episode was a bit too contrived, from the doctor reveal, to Colin Quinn dying after giving a life lesson to Ray. Way too pat.

I liked the doctor reveal, but yeah Colin Quinn's death was pretty absurd and cliched.

I wonder what Brian Williams must be thinking if he sees Ray butt slamming Marnie.

LOL
He is probably at his MSNBC desk gathering his notes and removes his glasses and flips on to HBO

Tonight's episode was so good. Andrew Ranells is so talented, it's nice to see him get to show some of it off. He makes the show for me.
I think Shoshana has had less than ten lines this season.

^Yes. I've been realizing that Elijah is probably my favourite character. Either him or Ray, but leaning toward Elijah.

She was supposed to be showing. I'm pretty sure they mentioned it in the episode.

^Pretty funny!
I liked that Kimmel's character was called 'Hampton' after the location of his conception.

Pretty good penultimate episode. I liked the interaction of the four leads and how you realize just how far apart they have grown. The dissolution of their friendship makes sense, sad as it is.

Yeah, that was pretty good.
I did like that Hannah and Jessa made up. Their conflict makes me uncomfortable.
No Ray, or Adam in this episode. Since there's only one episode left, I guess it appears that Ray will end up with the girl he met last episode. Nice to see that he's realized that looks, alone, aren't what he needs.

Still don't understand why HBO won't list the music and song titles in the closing credits and you have to do a google search.
Itunes could probably make more money if you knew the songs in the episode.

That's why with this show you have to have Shazam installed on your phone and ready to use for the end of each episode.

Nice article written about the show's most-recent episode and addressing the elephant in the room regarding the GIRLS' friendship finally being acknowledged :
