Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
So Carrie lied to Saul... and Dar is with-holding information from Saul. Add that his wife cheated on him and his girlfriend cheated/used him - I'm surprised he hasn't turned into a terrorist himself.

I really don't even recognize this show anymore.
Quinn's a needy mess, Carrie is battling for persecuted Muslims and working (sneakily!) with the president ("elect") to undercut the CIA, Saul is in the show about as much as Carrie's daughter, etc.
I am not enjoying this season at all, so far.

I'm alittle sad that 2 shows I've enjoyed (The Walking Dead & Homeland) are zzzzzzz...
I actually started playing on my phone during this episode, which I rarely do for a TV show, but I was completely bored and just don't care anymore.
Oh well, atleast I still have Game of Thrones and The Americans to still look forward to.

I'm enjoying the season so far. Not sure why all the negativity. Quinn had to be a mess this season following what happened last season. He'll get better and save the day.

No one is more surprised than me to very hesitatingly agree with this. I think they had to change track at least somewhat since it was getting flat cartoonish they way Carrie Forrest Gumped her way into every terrorist related event on the planet. Plus I can't stand her character, so this is more opportunity to feather in peripheral US agencies by having her actually at "home" in a show called Homeland.
This is really a tough spot for the show because the guy was basically dead a couple of times last season and yeah, you don't just bounce back from that. But he has been a human punching bag for about two full seasons now. They ruined almost everything that made him a really interesting character and turned him into something else. They wrote themselves into a blind alley with his character. Maybe they planned on just killing him off and that got vetoed and now we have the current mess. He might make a comeback and save the day like you suggested, but it won't be with the same character I used to enjoy.
