I was disappointed to see Bananas go. There was a 100000% that MTV was planning to have a CT vs. Bananas rematch with the backpack elimination and I was very eager to see it. Oh well, at least Darrell gets to stay. He's awesome.
I agree and I assume there will be a CT vs. Darrell elimination before the Final and I would think the smart money is on Darrell. Sure, it's never a good idea to count out CT but I think he's gotten soft in his old age.
But I'd still take him in a Final against any of the underdogs. He's done a Final before and that experience tends to mean a lot. He's also good with puzzles and I'd venture to guess that Hunter isn't.
I love CT, but I'm worried about his stamina. He's strong but he's carrying some extra weight and I think he was the only guy (?) that wasn't able to pull up the rope to the flag. Going head-on against Darrell or Hunter will be difficult for him. He does bring the funny, though.

To me, the reason CT and Cara both couldn't grab the rope seemed to be from excessive wake in the water, more so than the other competitors encountered. The camera seemed to focus on this. Atleast that is the way I saw it...

Yeah there is speculation that the boat was going faster than normal during their run because they didn't want the champions to win. There is no reason why CT who even if he isn't the best shape of his life, is one of the physically strongest competitors ever on the challenge was the only guy who couldn't do it.
Could be just a rumor but we do know production will rig things for whatever reason they want. They screwed CT in that rope climbing event with the helicopter because they wanted the big CT/Adam vs Bananas/Tyler elimination in Rivals 1

Wow... I was shocked that Jenna is out.... Puzzles and eating competitions just aren't her thing, but it's still impressive that that was the first time she has ever been eliminated. I was also surprised by how fast Amanda did that puzzle and she almost outsmarted Nicole in the final elimination. I'm interested in seeing the repercussions of what happened at the end of the episode. Really good episode!

You can't put a puzzle in front of Jenna and expect her to do it, you just can't.
The puzzle did seem like a huge pain the ass though. I figured Shane would win that considering the significant drop in IQ from him to Corey/Nelson/Hunter. Shane can get really annoying but if this fight between Nelson and Corey actually ends with him not having to compete in the elimination against Corey and getting tapped to go to the Final, it's a pretty genius move.
Amanda may be smarter than the other girls but she is such a shitty person. Hot though. She is hot.

I don't find Amanda hot at all, but it's mostly the freckles. Her and Ashley annoy the hell out of me.

I would have never in a million years bet on that. She looks like she just gave up.
She must have really been a lot more tangled than it appeared. With her height, size and strength, she sould have won that challenge easy.
So is it going to be 4 against two for the finale? Even if the champions win, are they getting extra for winning because they are only at $25K now. And how do the challengers pick their team? What if they both girls wanted to be on the same team with one guy or vice versa? (Granted I know it won't be that way due to the personalities but that could have been an issue if other people had made it.)
It seems that MTV is just making up the rules on this on as they go along.

I just watched this week's episode and I am shocked that Laurel lost. She wasn't focused. I think Nicole was distracting her.
I am going to assume they are going to make the Final solo and combine the pot. We'll find out next week. The final is going to be 3 days long! Wow....
I wonder if Smashley quits? This following tagged spoiler is purely speculation by me since I don't read The Challenge spoilers that are out there:

If CT doesn't make the finals, I will literally not have anyone left to root for. As annoying as these castmates are, I think I've always had someone I could root for at the end.
As much (deserved) criticism as Amanda received, Laurel has been and can still be a really horrible person and Camila is awful to watch at times every time she's on the show and both are older, more experienced and should be maturing.

I don't like either of them one bit. Darrel is fine and it would be great for his kids to bring home a lot of money but I'll be very disappointed to have lost Cara, Laurel and CT. Laurel isn't incredibly likeable but she's been so great in challenges in the past it's really been impressive.

Ashley is an idiot. I don't even know what she was tripping about unless it was clever editing, since from what was shown Nicole and Nelson weren't even talking about her.
Go CT Go! The Diem anniversary thing was sad

Ashley is a drama queen that does all that to get camera time. I'm sad to see Darrell go (I wanted to see him win enough money to buy that camper), but I hope CT can win it all. BTW CT was amazing in that elimination. That was a huge knot!
