I like fish out of water comedies and I thought this was funny. Hopefully it will continue to be amusing.

I liked it. Thought it was pretty funny. Kaitlin Olson was great playing bitchy white trash.
The kids were annoying, but they need to be with this kind of premise.
This feels like a raunchier version of the Kate Hudson movie "Raising Helen" from 2004.
I did notice a few audio drop outs where there were curse words. I'm betting this Pilot was probably originally developed for cable so there is a probably an uncut version out there.
(If you watch the trailer I posted above ^^^, it's filled with F bombs. So the show is definitely cut for network audiences) That trailer was pretty hilarious. It looked like scenes from the season.

It's probably a test to drive streaming traffic, offer the uncensored versions on VoD and Hulu, or on iTunes or something.
The show has potential, and Olson is a fantastic lead, and I hope it gets better as it goes.

I really liked this. I like Kaitlin Olsen,Sofia Black-D'Elia (25 and playing a high school student), and Carla Jimenez, the actress who plays the maid. I lost it when the kid said "It was humongous! I'm lucky he didn't beat me with it!"

That's weird, I just watched it on Hulu and didn't notice any audio drops, bleeps, or words I haven't heard on TV before.

There was one scene earlier when she was sitting in the car with her scumbag friend and the audio dropped out briefly when she said "Fuck" It was easily a blink and miss moment.

The pilot was a shrill mess I barely made it through to the end. I'd have more to say about The Mick but it would likely offend viewers that liked it.
I will say its name is terrible for marketing purposes. That limits its audience right out of the box. Mickey Mantle's family should sue.

totally recycling of Sweet Dee. I laughed a couple of times which is more I can say for 99.9% of other supposed new "comedies" these days. I'll give it a few more episodes.

The problem is, its unlikely we will get Dee. More than likely it will be a toned down network version of Dee. Which is the problem with all of these "Bad" teacher, uncle/aunt/friend etc shows. The "bad" isn't actually bad its just kind of annoying. The pilot was good though. So we'll see where it goes.

IMO one of the best comedies I've seen in years. The two female leads (at least I consider them the leads -- the aunt and niece) are brilliant. And the writing is great. The only thing I would have preferred is that it be on a network where the dialog wouldn't be stifled/censored by public broadcasting standards.

2nd episode was fucking funny as shit.
I haven't laughed this for a network TV comedy in a looong time.
The Grandma was fucking awesome
at Oatmeal boobs.
And I loved Mick and the fat ass maid partying.
at Ben burning his tongue at Benihana.
at the Grandma slipping on Ben's spit. That was awesome.
Really needed a crude comedy badly.

She was also on that CW show about angels last year and looked older as she was the mother of like a 7 year old and must have been wearing a padded bra because I had no idea her chest was so flat until this show. I remember her in the terrible Skins remake MTV did years ago and don't recall it being that non existent there either. Wonders of padded bras!

Your sister is getting fuuuuuuuuuurniture moved
This episode was way calmer than the last two

Birth control pills. Mickey was trying to get the daughter to take them and asked the little kid, "what if you could take a pill that would let you do anything you want? Would you take it?" The kid excitedly said yes, then later went back and took a handful of pills and replaced them with candy.

Kinda creepy/daring that Mick was getting turned on by her 17 year old niece getting busy. I mean I know it was presented as her being attracted to the dude, but it was only when Sabrina was getting it that she needed some alone time with Jimmy.
Imagine if they changed it to Jimmy getting turned on every time instead. Would there be any backlash?
