Here's an article about Adam and his mother. It doesn't spoil anything pertaining to the season itself but I'll tag the link anyway just in case...

Also, season 34 will premiere on March 8, 2017, with a two-hour premiere. That's about 3 weeks later than usual.

So Adam didn't even need to play his idol to get the same result, right?

What the literal fuck was Ken thinking. What a retard. Ken is pretty much the only person left I kinda liked but that went out the window and was hoping his idiocy got him booted.

They won't even know Will voted Zeke, so power move lost. I mean he'll tell them he voted Zeke but they won't be able to confirm it.

Such a blah cast.

Not true. The votes that are left in the box are the votes that went towards the person voted off. Since Jeff only read four votes for Hannah, the other five votes were for Zeke. Jeff finished reading them when he read 3 of the 5 votes in play, giving Zeke enough votes to get the boot. The rest therefore can figure out that there wasn't a fifth vote for Hannah, meaning they know the two unread votes were for Zeke. They know Will voted for Zeke.

But the way it will play to the jury is that Will's big move is now Adam's big move. Will came off as wishy washy.

After the horrible manufactured Gen X/Millennial beginning, this has turned out to be great season.

Since we have so many players and only two episodes to wrap up the show, there will be two tribal councils and two players eliminated next week.

This is the only Loved Ones episode that actually tugged at my heart. I really enjoyed this episode, and I agree, I liked Ken up until today. He really is full of himself.

Ken is trying to play like a Boston Rob-esque power player, except he seems to have very little real power throughout the game and hasn't really made any exceptional moves throughout the game. Not only was his alliance on the bottom prior to the Will switch, but David and Hannah seem to be the real decision makers there. He does hold the secret advantage, but that obviously doesn't mean squat unless you actually make it to day 36.

i think Ken is more like Coach with his trust and loyalty test personality. Ken was immediately in the minority alliance in the original Gen X tribe even though he was one of the more fit/physically strong members. He took great offense when his name came up for elimination and probably has a massive ego that rubs people the wrong way.

Re: Survivor: Millennials vs Gen-X (S33E12) -- "About to Have a Rumble" -- 11/30/16

I'm not at all a fan of Ken's move either, though I wonder if it's just/mostly poor social skills and self-awareness on his part. He's said that he doesn't get along well with people, and keeps to himself in Hawaii. I'm glad we saw the reaction from the rest of his group, but would have definitely liked to have heard if he had second thoughts after the results from his "test".

I liked Zeke better than some of those remaining, but it'll be interesting (again) to see the fallout from this. As has been said, Will's big move came to nothing, other than that Bret & Sunday (and maybe Jay) trust him less. The groups could still go 4 vs. 4, but I doubt it will come to that.

Meanwhile, congrats to Hannah on sussing out that she was in danger. I don't know if she figure it out on her own, or if there were signs at camp we didn't see, but that was pivotal. Along with Adam's big move of course. Although the vote would have accomplished getting rid of Zeke too, but obviously they weren't sold on Will's support.

Yup. He clearly wasn't absolutely sure about the final vote count. I still think it was a great idol play because he controlled who went home had one vote went the other way. Unlike many others in the past that played it and a third party (not who they were targeting like Zeke) went home.

Personally I think Ken didn't come off well in that edit, but he really was just trying to make it clear he could be trusted and wanted to find out who else could be as well. He had just lost the one person he trusted and was looking for new allies. Seemed to me he was in the right track.

It was almost a bit of comedy to see Will be so over the top in his desire to make a move. Then at TC, Adam one ups him and leaves him in the same spot. He was visibly frustrated.

Adam was even able to spin NOT using the reward advantage as some great move/sacrifice. Like anybody wanting to win would ever use then anyway...

The weird thing about what Ken did was that the almost same scenario happened to him earlier in the game (when he told Jess and she went to confirm which blew up his telling her), and he was pretty irritated about it. Moreover, based on the edit, he really didn't stick around for the explanation. He just buried Will and left.

It was an odd play, but he's an odd guy. Zeke said that Ken would have been in his ideal final 3.

So it seems the Zeke is actually transgender. Not completely shocking, but I wouldn't have guessed it if I hadn't read it somewhere.

Not that it matters based on how Will voted. but why did they target Hannah? Was it to win Will over to their side?

Seems like they should have gone after David or Ken. I wasn't following along that closely and I think someone mentioned possibly being worried about David finding a third idol, but why not target Ken then?

Obviously, Adam gave the producers a "Heads Up", because they had all of Hannah's votes front-loaded.

I always figured they just re-sort the urn after someone plays an idol.

Every episode the votes are looked through and put in the best order for the most dramatic effect except on the live finale.

Zeke didn't want to target David, thinking him the likeliest to have an Idol, as you saw. Adam was out of the running of course. So that left Ken who was the original plan, but since Will told him, then they decided to switch to Hannah.

I'm guessing they counted on some combo of her not having an Idol, and if one was played, then it would be least likely to go to her.

But the idol is played after the votes are brought back, right? Or am I remembering it wrong?

It wouldn't be difficult for Jeff to re-order the votes after a HII play.

They could also edit out a vote reorganization or Jeff peeking at the votes before he reads them.
