I do suspect we may get "guest(s) of the season" for this show, especially since Logan & William's storyline is in the past, so it'll be hard to keep it going without running into continuity problems, especially if one turns out to be the MiB.

Yeah maybe not guest of the week but at least more guests
To me it seems way too host centric at the moment
right now if there was a host uprising and all humans got slaughtered i wouldn't give a damm because they haven't really established more than a couple of humans

I think I agree with the general sentiment of some people here, and in the internet in general, that the show sometimes may be too complex, or a chore. When you need to go to a website to better understand a show, that says something.
At the same time, I enjoy the show as is, without fully grasping all the concepts with one watching. I'm also OK with people that love the show, they watch every episode at least twice, then spend hours reading about theories in the internet.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, to me, the show is good but not that good compared to the classics. (INSERT The Wire, Breaking Bad, etc. references here).

Nolans love overcomplicated, twisty storylines. Usually plays better in hindsight and subsequent viewings.

I did mention a few episodes that I'd be pissed if McPoyle and Dave Moss turned out to be the same character, because it would be cheap.
Well, consider me pissed.

Seriously, guys, check out the Vanity Fair article I linked above. It explains so much, as well as pointing out things you might have missed.
She said that moments before she knew who was coming through the door.

See, I'm pretty much only familiar with her in the old TV show Once & Again, where she played a pre-teen, then I didn't really see or notice her in anything until this show, so she's still like this to me in my mind.

I did not realize that "Rachel" was that actress. Thanks for ruining that for me!

Didn't need to see that childhood photo...
All I can say is there's no way a woman can date Marilyn Manson and not be into kinky stuff.

I've had to resort to Vanity Fair for full explanations of the show now. The writer does a really good job breaking down both the obvious (William's story) and the obscure (Ford's motivations)

WOW - thanks for the posting that article!
I just watched ep 09 this morning and my head is spinning, then I started that article and it's spinning even more.
Great stuff...

A quick search shows that it's the music video for Marilyn Manson's song "Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand)"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart-...d)#Music_video
http://www.universal-music.de/marily...shaped-glasses
There's nothing in the music video to distinguish it from any other simulated sex scene. Evan Rachel Wood has said the sex was not real.

I'll obviously watch the season finale, but i dunno, there is something about this show which isn't quite doing it for me
It started off strong, now it's just all over the place for the sake of it. There's shows with complex storylines which are enjoyable to watch, this one is bordering on being a chore territory
There's enough good in the show to keep me watching for now
I would also like to see sub stories about new guests coming to the park each week, instead of monster of the week , a guest of the week.
We've only had a couple of guests to focus on all series
Another problem the show has is when the Host v Human war kicks off properly, they haven't built anyone up on the human side of any consequence or anyone to root for.
Whatever Ford is, human or host, he's not anyone to root for
The only humans have been minor characters or doofuses
