One of the few shows on TV I still keep up with and am interested in. Can't wait to see this.
I loved this show from Day One. I think it's brilliant.

Yeah, I'm way behind on other scripted shows but will likely find time to watch this every week to keep current.

Really interesting premiere episode.
Is he dead and we are going to get flashbacks until the series ends?
Not sure if they have already talked about how many seasons the show will last.
Is this the first episode in the entire series where we only see one point of view?
Is that the new format?

Was a strange episode, but it still held my interest.
Maura Tierney looked great tho.

Very good opener as I think it was a good idea to fast forward past his jail sentence and see how everything has affected his life.
I think it gives the creators the leeway to take the show wherever they want now and aren't tied down to this suspicious murder that was only talked about in the final 5 minutes of every episode.
In saying all that, is any character ever happy in this show?

So...anybody catch the second episode? Pretty interesting catching up on their lives. Though since the perspectives aren't parallel, it's harder to tell what degree of "skewing" is going on.

I think Whitney's story is very realistic as Howard Stern talks about girls like her. They have daddy issues and date/sleep with older men for approval and to stick it to their parents.
I'm liking where this season is headed....

Not sure what they are doing with this Brendan Frasier character.
The other stuff is pretty good so far though.

Am I right that we do not know yet why Alison and Noah are estranged? I can't remember where that relationship left off except that Alison was in the court room with the baby and Noah has a picture of her in prison.
And Maura Tierney has never looked good to me. Something with those weird pouty lips.

Yeah, I'm assuming they're estranged due to her telling him that she had slept with Cole and the baby was his, not Noah's. That, and him going to jail, covering for his ex-wife.
Are they trying to build a mystery as to who stabbed him? Who could it be other than Brendan Frasier?

That makes sense but Noah seems transfixed on Alison with her picture in jail. Alison is the one that seems to want nothing to do with Noah. And where did Alison disappear to for 4? years? Noah should be the one pissed here.
I think they're building up the mystery to point to Cole as the killer. Luisa confronted Cole about where he was that night and he obviously has feelings for Alison.

Good episode this week, as I like how you sort of understand where Allison and Cole's Wife are coming from with the daughter. I sympathize with Allison regarding her daughter, in that she feels she has a right to be in her life and not be shut out by her past mistakes. But I also understand Cole's wife in that she doesn't trust Allison abandoning the daughter again, as she knows the kid will be a total headcase. She just wants the kid to grow up in a normal home, but Cole and Allison obviously still have feelings for each other.

Up to this point Brendan Frasier's character does seem like the most likely suspect. Gunther clearly has an axe to grind with Solloway for some type of slight or humiliation suffered in his hands during high school, of which Noah probably don't even have any recollections. The initial friendly gestures were just facade to get closer and gather more research or intelligence for a proper revenge.
Also the two different perspectives are back. However, I do not understand why must everything be in stark contrast in their respective memories (Cole in a dress shirt instead of T-shirt, coverings on the cake, horse instead of pony, Joanie did/did not greet her mom, both women in completely different outfits). It would actually be more realistic if a few things stayed consistent in both memories.

I think that is a neat feature. Obviously, Alison remembers her cake to be this huge thing of beauty and Cole remembers it as just a cake.

Yep, I like the differences too.
I told my wife, Cole remember it as rough, hard sex. Alison is more romantic, she remembers this moment as more romantic, calm, yet passionate.

Is he just losing his fucking mind? In real life, a rear collision of that magnitude would've messed up a small vehicle pretty good. Yet, the Mini Cooper had no visible signs of damage in its rear.

And the other car that came out of nowhere that made him go off the road just disappears?
