Quote:
American Gods, the new Starz series adapted from Neil Gaimanís contemporary fantasy novel, will have its TV bow on Sunday, April 30 at 9pm ET/PT. And from this first-look key art, clouds and strangeness are heading this way.

Before the TV premiere of the eight-episode series, produced by FremantleMedia North America, American Gods will make a public debut at the SXSW festival on March 11. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with showrunners and cast including Bryan Fuller, Michael Green, Ricky Whittle, Ian McShane, Emily Browning, Pablo Schreiber, Crispin Glover, Yetide Badaki, Bruce Langley, Orlando Jones, Jonathan Tucker and Betty Gilpin.

The logline: American Gods pits Old Gods against New Gods, with the ancient mythological ones fearing irrelevance as their believers die off or are seduced by the money, technology, and celebrity offered by the younger deities. Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) is an ex-con who, left adrift by the recent death of his wife, becomes bodyguard and traveling partner to conman Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane). But in truth, Mr. Wednesday is a powerful old deity, on a cross-country mission to build an army and reclaim his lost glory.

Re: Notable Winter/Midseason 2017 Premiere Dates

I don't know if this thread is meant for general chatter, but I just looked at next-episode.net and found that an ~3 week period starting March 31st is loaded with returns, for me.

Trailer Park Boys 11x01 - Fri Mar 31
Wentworth 5x01 - Tue Apr 04
Archer 8x01 - Wed Apr 05
The Trip 3x01 - Thu Apr 06
Better Call Saul 3x01 - Mon Apr 10
Fargo 3x01 - Wed Apr 19
Silicon Valley 4x01 - Sun Apr 23

It's like the perfect storm of TV!

And there are quite a few shows, currently running, that I enjoy.

Re: Notable Winter/Midseason 2017 Premiere Dates

FYI

Made one final update to the OP

Revised and added shows/premieres for April through the end of May.

I will probably make a Summer list sometime before I leave for my month-long vacation at the end of May.

I thought that Negan could catch a tiger by his toe. Well, he got his chance but instead he runs away like a little bitch.
