Finished it. Very nice cliffhanger. Has you guessing as to what is true. It'll be interesting how it gets resolved if there's another season. Looking forward to it.

I feel bad for David.

Re: Travelers (Netflix) -- S: Eric McCormack -- Time Travel drama from EP of Stargate

Just finished, and really enjoyed it. I like the dichotomy each character has to deal with between their mission as Traveler and their host body's life.

I was worried that after their initial mission (deflecting the asteroid) was completed, the show would lose steam. But the last few episodes really stepped up the conflict.

I was worried they were going to kill off Marcy. She's my favorite character, and damn cute. Now I'm afraid they've killed Grace, whom I like for her frankness. I'm guessing Trevor will survive.

I really hope there's a Season 2.

Good show.

Nice twist on time traveling theme. Of course it's much cheaper to bring people into our time than to send us to theirs.

This is one of my favorite shows now. Don't like Marcy's love life drama though.

Enrico Colantoni joined the case. He plays the role with intensity right from the first episode, which was great. Amanda Tapping guest starred as his therapist (she has also directed some episodes).

Assume S2 is airing in Canada? Not scheduled for US until next year I believe.

Looks like S2 just hit. Fantastic. I'm just finishing up with Dark, so this is next up on my list.

I thought they were fucked at the end of last season. Now they are officially fucked.

Re: Travelers (Netflix) -- S: Eric McCormack -- Time Travel drama from EP of Stargate

Just finished season 2.

Wow, that ending really shakes things up! Can't wait to see how this plays out.

Excellent season overall. The new villain was a good one, and his back story is interesting. It's always good to see Amanda Tapping, and it looks like she may have a bigger role if there's another season.

The 'Groundhog Day' episode (with the skydivers) was fun, though pretty dark.

I also really liked the episode where we see more of Marcy's (host's) backstory.

The skydiving episode is cool, but shows the problem with the premise of this show. They can continually redo any failed missions that involve new travelers. Also why not jump into any of the faction people there for there assault? Also why didn't the dipshit skydiver guy just take the motorcycle in the woods? He could have rode that thing nearby all the way.

I just got to this show and watched the first two eps yesterday. I'm in for more... and glad to know there was enough love for a second season.

There are some rules, though. I believe they can't send anyone further back in time than the most recent Traveler was sent. That's why they couldn't send someone back to an earlier time than the skydivers in order to try to stop the ambush.

Plus it looked like the repetitive overwriting of the same person caused their brain to become a bit more scrambled each time.

We know that the faction have devices that can shield them from the Director's ability to overwrite them. They were using one during the big assault on the house. They could have had one at the lake somewhere.

The device was only blocking video. That is what they use to get into people. How could they be using that device underwater? Maybe it was in security guys truck, but just left too many what ifs for me

That was a great second season, and, yeah, I'm really not sure where they're going from here. I really like how the story constantly moves forward and the writers don't use overwriting as a deus ex machina to solve every problem. Very curious why the Director didn't stop the video dissemination, and how all this will shake out in season three.

Re: Travelers (Netflix) -- S: Eric McCormack -- Time Travel drama from EP of Stargate

I'm about 3/4 of the way through the second season. Not as interesting as the first, as there isn't as much time spent on how the travelers navigate their normal mundane lives and relationships, which was what I liked the most about the first season. Season 2 seems more like a series of missions of the week. Still, it's entertaining enough.

Will and Grace was renewed for 2 more seasons, so McCormack will have to do double duty.

http://deadline.com/2018/03/will-gra...es-1202339735/

It says that Travelers will film season 3 this month. I guess he won't work on Will and Grace until July or so.

I finally finished the last two episodes and like everyone else I look forward to season 3. I do like that the core cast seems intact heading into the third season which has me relieved.
