I don't understand why there was a disclaimer telling us that everybody, but one, died? So now we just wait to find out who that one is? Big deal.

I'd chalk it up to the fast pace of the show. They're always anxious to throw tons of information at us. It's part of the show's charm. If you look at how much progresses in each episode, that's not something you get anywhere else. In contrast, look how long it takes The Walking Dead to get anywhere.

My guess is that Cheyenne Jackson lives. But there's really no telling.

We're going to get two more episodes of on-set carnage. And then the final episode is going to pivot again. My guess is that it'll follow the survivor, maybe with a normal story narrative (no re-enactments, no reality TV). If I had to make another guess, the survivor is going to be a killer themselves.

But who knows. I don't think I've correctly predicted anything with this show so far.

I feel that the pivot would have worked if the first 6 episodes were better. The show touted "My Roanoke Nightmare" as a massive success but the actual show was rather uninspiring so it didn't come off as genuine when they broke down that 4th wall. It would have also been cool if a few weeks ago they got Kathy Bates to "go viral" by dressing up as the Butcher and running around Hollywood Blvd. A missed opportunity, IMO.

Alas, I do like the pivot. The docu-drama stuff was perfectly fine but it ran its course. I mostly enjoy found footage movies so I'm cool with that part. I think the next few episodes have potential to be really good, we'll see how it goes.

They ran the docu-drama arc too long. That would have worked better over 2-3 episodes before pulling the rug out.
