I was hoping for a summer release like last year. I guess watching this the week of Halloween is a better fit though.

Just watched the first episode. Can't believe I didn't see this before. I love the whole 80s thing and the kids are really good in this.

Just watched the whole first season in 2 nights. Both me and my lady (80's kids) LOVED it.
Can't wait for season 2. I really hope Eleven is back, which I'm sure she will be in at least some capacity.

It's a shame it wasn't Halloween 1982, as they could have brought up the Tylenol scare. That was the only Halloween that we weren't allowed to venture to houses that we didn't know who lived there in fear of getting poisoned candy.

If I recall correctly, nobody had any authentic Halloween Costumes back in the late 70's/early 80's Halloween days. Everyone had those cheap plastic suits (I remember I was Chewbacca in 1978) and those cheap masks.
