Watched the first episode last night, really impressed. The kids feel like they really are out of an old Spielberg movie. This argument over Lord of the Rings/Hobbit was classic, even though it was just a throwaway bit.

Dang, as much as I have in my queue right now, I may have to start watching this sooner rather than later. Sounds pretty good.

Halfway through. I'm trying very hard to resist the urge to binge watch this thing. Imho, it's easily one of the best original series Netflix done so far.

I watched this in one day, but took breaks with an episode of something else in between 2 or 3 episodes stretches.

What a wonderful, wonderful series. Netflix, please make more of this. The D&D conversation alone made me love this show. Hardly anyone has been able to portray that correctly and this show did it with kids who made it seem like they knew exactly what they were talking about.
All the kids were great, but the girl who played Eleven was spectacular. She is going to be getting some major roles in the near future. Hopefully the show can hold onto her, and the other kids if they get another season. The boy who plays Mike is already going to be in the remake of "IT."

Good show but it always takes me out when they have cars that are newer than the year the story takes place in. Otherwise, looking forward to another season.

Watched the first episode today...I love this. The attention to 80s detail is incredible. I love picking things out in the background of shots. I suppose it doesn't hurt that I was 13 during the year this is set...so it's pure nostalgia for me.
Definitely reminds me of Spielberg in the 80s. Who are these Duffer Brothers and where did they come from...they're great!

On ep 5 & enjoying the hell out of this, I'm torn between binge or savor. Netflix is really creating a brand. I look forward to their original shows more than most movies.

This was amazing. It's like it was tailor made for me. From the amazing score, to the similar feel of so many beloved movies from my childhood, it was a nostalgia blast.
I heard nothing about this until it popped up on top of my Netflix list. As soon as I saw that Stephen King font used for the title, I immediately dove in.
Also, that opening sequence may be one of the best ever.

Just finished. Was great. Loved how it got a bit darker in the later episodes.

I liked the ambiguous ending. Leaving some things open and not explaining everything. Although I thought the last episode went a little quick once it got to the monster confrontation.
