Speaking of The Hound, is there any chance at all of his resurrection?

Did we ever definitively see his death?

Was the priest who performed Balon's funeral Damphair?

Also, from next week's previews, we see
Spoiler:
Umber bannerman going to Winterfell, and presenting Ramsey with a "gift." Is that gift Rickon Stark? Wasn't he supposed to be hiding out with the Umbers while Bran went north beyond the wall?

No, we did not see his death. He begged Arya to kill him, but she didn't.

I'd love to see him show up!

Yes, the Hound was left for dead, but not dead yet. As he said, "Unless there is a Maester behind that rock..."

Since it looks like we might need some of the other great houses of the north, I wonder if they'll bring Greatjon Umber back. We haven't seen him since season one, and his character didn't die at the Red Wedding in the book either.

I'm also betting at some point this season Osha and Rickon will be around.

Speaking of the Red Wedding, is Edmure Tully still floating around somewhere as far as we know?

Yes, neither Edmure nor the Blackfish died in that episode. The show went a completely different direction for Jaime last year so who knows if/when we'll see them again.

Honestly. finding out that Hodor could once talk normally was a bigger revelation to me than Jon Snow being brought back.

Who cleans up the dragon shit in that building? That can't be an easy job. Otherwise it must really stink in there. Or maybe the dragons take care of it themselves by burning it?

was Dorne taken out of the opening credits? maybe they're dropping it all together, which i'd be ok with.

I was wondering about that too....when Brienne and the Hound fought, did they not acknowledge each other?

Not necessarily. Dorne wasn't in the opening sequence because it wasn't featured in the episode. They change the locations in the credits sequence depending on what's in each episode. The only locations that are always shown are Kings Landing, Winterfell, and the Wall.

I took it as they were more intuitive than intelligent. They sensed he wasn't there to hurt them, and he removed the shackles on the first dragon. After that the second one was just saying, "ok, now it's my turn."

I also took them retreating back into the crypt as a way of saying, you were cool to us, so we won't fly off and do what got us locked up in the first place.

Hopefully, D&D won't just get tired of devoting a huge chunk of their lives to this saga & start dragging out every character left standing (including those long-forgotten without confirmed deaths) and have a big Marvel-style team-up knock-down-drag out Ragnorokish finale.

Although that would be kinda awesome.

Re: Game of Thrones (S6E02) -- "Home" -- 5/1/16

I'm really looking forward to the zombie knight and Jamie killing everyone in the sept. I hope we get to see that. I'd also like to the the hound come back and be the one who kills zombie knight, for obvious reasons.

So .... John is gonna move out towards Winterfell with the Wildlings and loyal houses to face the Boltons? I guess the only question is if the northern houses betray Bolton?

It's hard for me to see what role Sansa and Arya are going to play in the endgame? Sansa weds someone to cement an alliance and Arya betrays someone at a crucial moment by changing faces? I don't know who that would be, now, except maybe the Greyjoys?

One thing I really liked was that Cersei actually had Robert Strong find and kill the guy who whipped out his dick and shook it at her during her walk of shame.

Not being a book reader, I think :

The "gift" that is brought to Ramsey is a recaptured Theon.
Sansa would be the one that the houses ally with, cause for the most part the other northern houses despise the boltons. I'm curious to see how Walder Frey responds to the murder of his daughter and grandson. And I believe Littlefinger will ride to the North with the Knights of the vale, cause why not? Just my guesses.

How would Walder Frey know that his daughter and grandson was murdered? Ramsey is just going to tell everyone that Walda and the kid was poisoned at the same time that Roose was.

I wasn't talking about just this scene. I meant they could've escaped a long time ago by just removing the shackles themselves, so why didn't they if the dragons were so smart?

It's well known that a lot of animals eat their own shit (just Google "animals eat their own feces" if you don't believe me), so I would think the dragons do (doo) the same (after cooking it first, of course).

I always thought that Arya would come back to Westeros and kill Cersei. I mean if Danny is ever going to rule the Iron throne then the Lannisters will have to be out of the picture. But that's just my reckless speculation.

I went back and watched the walk and she is flashed by two dudes, neither of which appear to be that guy who Robert Strong killed. Would have been funny if they had used one of those guys.

Guesses:

I have a feeling the High Sparrow's denouement will be handled in an unexpected manner. No idea what's going to happen, just that it's probably not going to be straight forward.

I believe Ramsey is gone this season.

I believe other resurrections will happen.

I believe that the Red Priestess' "glamour" trick will reappear have repercussions and will be used again.

I believe the Iron Island fleet is hugely important.
