Re: Marvel's Daredevil (Netflix) - Season 2 Discussion Thread - 3/18/16
Finished the season yesterday. I agree with what has been said.
Punisher was the highlight of the series, and I too wish he came in at the end and helped them take out a good 75% of the ninjas on the roof - something only a bullet could do vs a blade. That would have helped put DD and Electra on even footing to take out the main boss and made what seemed impossible - possible.
I just didn't understand what all these ninjas and the hole, and the iron coffin were for.. what was the threat (other than the city seemed to have 100s of some kind of undead, zombie, ninjas walking around... were they even related?... I don't know). They seemed to be able to kidnap, track, and capture a bus load of random people in a few hours with nothing more to go on than a name and address in a police file - glad they were all home at the time (except for the guy taking a walk - just bad luck for him).
But overall the fighting was great, the characters developed, and those that killed.. killed.. and whiny DD just had to accept it.

Bumped old thread since there isn't one for S3.
Joanne Whalley (“The Borgias,” “Wolf Hal”l) has joined the cast of the third season of Netflix’s “Daredevil” in the pivotal role of Sister Maggie – a character with a key connection to the titular hero.
When we last saw him at the end of “The Defenders,” a bedridden Matt Murdock suffers from his wounds in a convent. The series will reportedly be taking its cues from the ‘Born Again’ storyline wherein The Kingpin finally learns the identity of Daredevil and becomes obsessed with killing him.
Erik Oleson will be the third new showrunner for the series, replacing Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez on the second and Steven DeKnight on the first. The plan is for a late 2018 premiere.

I’m a little surprised, since it puts the release just about 5 weeks after Iron Fist.

I would’ve guessed mid-November.

A friend was the post coordinator on this and they pretty much delivered everything 2 weeks ago. Looking forward to Bullseye.

Still haven't had time to watch Iron Fist S2 yet, but I'll want to complete it before diving into Daredevil S3. I've watched all of the Netflix Marvel shows to completion thus far.
