Yeah I sort of figured given that he releases a lot of content digitally that might be the case. I guess I wasn't sure if maybe he'd try and get a distributor for this.

Wait, what? I've read a different version of the same article. It's entirely possible once it's sold to another outlet, it gets bluray release from there.

C.K. told Stern that he is open to taking “Horace & Pete” to another platform following its initial run. “I’ll sell it to another outlet — of course I will, down the road,” he said.

Re: Horace and Pete -- Created by Louis C.K.

The discussion was in reference to airing on something like FX.

None of the content he releases digital has made its way to disc. Even the special the he released himself and then HBO aired.

It could happen because this seems to be such a financial burden to him, but it is highly unlikely. Especially considering seasons of Louie can't even get a real DVD release anymore.

I think the issue with Louie is a Fox thing. For whatever reason they've stopped with a lot of TV shows but you can still get seasons three through five on burn on demand discs from Amazon. Only on DVD and no extras but better than nothing at all.

Hence why I said real DVD. They're DVD-Rs. I'm not paying for for a DVD-R set than what they charge for the Blu-ray combo of earlier seasons. Not to mention the reviews are terrible. Yes, that's a Fox thing.

Yes, episode purchase only, no whole season option.

And no, if it has no extras, then nothing is just fine with me since we can see this on Amazon or Netlflix. Fox are a bunch of asses for dumping this show via physical media. Louie deserves a good blu ray release with extras. They keep releasing that crap show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (tried it and hated it), there's no reason why they can't invest in Louie just a little

Horace and Pete is very unique, but yeah, unless someone like Shout invests in it, I don't see this one going to physical media. But if it did, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, as hard as it is to watch sometimes.

I've been watching to buy Season 3 of Louie and the more current ones, but I just can't pull the trigger on those DVD-Rs. The comments section on Amazon says they won't even play in all DVD players.

Re: Horace and Pete -- Created by Louis C.K.

Just watched this on Prime. Very good, but incredibly sad.

And, yeah, I really hated the Edie Falco character, particularly in the episode in which Pete brought his girlfriend home to meet his family.

Also hated Horace the 9th, played briefly by Angus Jones.

Loved this. I remember paying for it on his website.

revisited a few episodes on Prime.

Louie’s metoo problem took him down and I miss his work.
