I'm pleasantly surprise with this show and really enjoyed it. Glad it will be back,
The Expanse was already renewed, but won't return until sometime in 2017.

Thanks. Did not know that. I just remember the first season was shoot a long time before it was finally aired.

Tonight's episode came together really well. Show feels edgy, a little bit like Mr. Robot in feel. One of my favorite new shows, and like I said it is material that could easily suck, but so far have been doing a really strong job with. Glad it is renewed. Some good shows on SyFy now with this, Expanse, Killjoys and Dark Matter though I might wind up liking this the most.

It's a concept that could be cheesy but has been pulled off in convincing fashion. I want to visit Breakbills.

Really enjoying this show. I thought last night was going to be a filler episode but it turned out great. Good to see the girl who joined the witches get some comeuppance. She attacked her supposed best friend all because shes jealous of him.

Glad its getting a second season because the ratings have been abysmal.

As someone who's read a lot of fantasy (and really loved Jonathan Strange and Mister Norell) I think this series is quite excellent.

I've never read the books this series is based on, anyone recommend it?

I've watched episodes 1-3 so far and I'm liking the show. I've read the first book, but I want to read the other two books.

Nice website.

This episode was pretty good. It seems that Fillary is apparently real. I'm more interested in reading that book than the one the series is based on.

Well Roz right from the first scene of the show makes it obvious that Fillary is real.

This is one awesome show. I loved this past episode with the eccentric magician teaching the students.

It seems like the producers know where they are going and have the entire season already mapped out in full detail.

I love this show. They need to follow FXs lead and just stop bleeping the f words. Some of them on this show are I think intentionally poorly bleeped. It's fun and kind of an intense show and it is ramping nicely. Characters are surprisingly deep.

It's really a shame that the ratings aren't higher. I do like the fact that the show doesn't go over board with the exposition. I find it refreshing that there isn't a detailed explanation of everything. It also gives the writers a lot of latitude which shows like Supernatural, that have specific detailed worlds, don't have anymore.

Also there are a lot of beautiful people on TV, but I find Olivia Taylor Dudley especially stunning on this show.

I noticed the odd bleeping as well in the episode. Some naughty words were barely bleeped and fully intelligible.

They did a great job in casting, everyone fits their roles quite nicely. The one thing this show is lacking so far is a great villain. We have the Beast or whatever he is, but he's been mostly M.I.A. since the pilot. Everything else has been excellent.

In the last episode.............

Spoiler:
Is Elliot's new boyfriend supposed to be the beast?

You don't have to spoiler it if it already aired.

And yes, I got that impression.

I hadn't considered that but it could be a possibility.

I think I missed that shot by an outside distraction.

I was thinking he was under mind control by the beast and not actually the beast. It would link back to the mind control lessons and the mental wards also mentioned in the episode.

I got the same sense. Also, I'm speculating that he's one of the group of students that all disappeared from the same class. Since showing up he's appeared to younger students who wouldn't know him, but so far as we've seen, not to any instructors or older adults who might.

I just caught up on the last 5 episodes and holy cow this show is all kinds of awesome, I especially loved the Russian putting them through their paces.

Also, Summer Bishil is insanely stunning on this show.

The female casting on this show is perfect. In fact, most shows don't like casting this many beautiful women as regulars.

Another great episode, that was a surprisingly vicious and nasty scene. I had guessed Eliza's real identity long ago.

This is becoming one of those very rare shows where I will watch each new episode twice. It doesn't stand out in any particular way but the set design and production quality are top-notch for cable, particularly Syfy.

That was pretty badass how Elliot killed him. No silly spells to throw him backwards 20 feet. He just put him down.
