Anyone notice Microsoft is buying product placement? It's in the credits, "promotional consideration paid for by Microsoft." In return, the cops all use Surface tablets and there are blatant shots of the tablet with the product name visible.

The show has been witty but formulaic to this point. It does appear they are moving towards her fully accepting him as the real Devil.

We agree, but will give it another episode or two.
The cop. I think the shrink has been all in since episode two at least.

I loved the "two pump chump" line at the imposter Lucifer. I wonder how much Ellis is improvising because he's clearly having a ball.

Episode 4 was a step up. I figured out the kidnapping twist, but that wasn't really he point of the episode. The twist at the end with the injury I most definitely didn't see coming.
I have a few possible theories on what could be happening.
1) generally the longer he stays on Earth in human form the more he becomes human
2) His love for Chloe is causing his shift
3) some third party (not-God) is causing this. Maybe somebody wants to overthrow him and take over Hell?

I'm thinking that Chloe isn't a regular human. She seems to be immune to Lucifer's charms, and now she can hurt him.
Maybe she's the progeny of an angel and/or demon, or a descendent of Christ or something.

Solid episode, even though I, like I'm sure many others, saw the twist in the case a mile off.
I like how they played Chloe's uncertainty over Lucifer in this episode. I don't think they quite got me to the point of buying that she would shoot Lucifer to test him, but it was still fun.
I just rewatched a bit of the pilot where he meets the daughter in the school because I couldn't recall if he tried his powers on her in that scene or not. He didn't, but it did remind me that he says he's glad to stay in the car because he hates kids but then is kind of lured into the school by a very attractive blonde who he couldn't find when he entered. It had a hint of someone/thing manipulating events.

I'm guessing she's Lucifer's half-human daughter. Which puts a very different spin on this last episode.
Someone does seem to be manipulating the situation for some gain, likely for control of Hell.

I got sort of excited last night when Chloe asked Lucifer who cut his wings off. I was really hoping he'd say Morpheus or the Dream King.

I hated the start, it's like he took his act too far. But the end was cool because we finally saw a flash of evil. The charmer routine work, but once in a while he needs to be the devil.

4th episode was great. Loving Ellis in this role. Good amount of humor and sarcasm.
I was at how he really wanted to bang Chloe and he was shocked at her resistance to his flirting and charms.
I agree that it seems like the longer he stays on earth and in human form, the more human he's becoming and that's why he felt the gunshot wound.

I'm three episodes in and really enjoying this show
It's purely because of the two lead actors and their chemistry
The premise and story it's anything mindblowing, but i am enjoying the performances

The show has been enjoyable but I really wish they would dump that cheesy opening text, or at a very minimum, rewrite it.

Well, that was fun. Interesting turn of events. I'm hooked for a while longer. Tom Ellis is having a blast, you can tell.

Mazikeen "So did it work? Did you two have sex?"
Dan "No! Why would you think putting me in her bed naked would get us to have sex?"
Mazikeen "..sigh.. Always works for me"
I kind of want Lucifer to show a bit more of a dark side but over all it's been an entertaining light weight sort of show. I'm not sure it has the legs for a five season run or anything but I'll enjoy it while it's around.

Wasn't too hard to figure out the missing item was probably his wings.
As soon as he opened the secret door, that pretty much nailed it.
Ellis is just a blast to watch in this. He did show a little range when Linda kept pushing him and talking about his relationship with his Dad.

We pretty much watch this day of after padding the DVR for 20 minutes. It has some deeper elements, but is just good fun to watch. I think it fills our Castle slot which we have summarily dumped after the season opener.
I'm guessing it's a 3rd party after the wings, unless it's Maz tiring to push his dark side. Who else would know they exist, or where they are.

Really good to see Tom Sizemore working again. I thought he was a dead man the way he was going downhill.
