They're not going to do that Carl stuff because much like Rick losing a hand, that shit would be too much for the show to keep up with that nonsense.

It was so stupid my head hurts just thinking about it.
I don't understand what they are doing with Morgan, at this point he's just the worst. It is weird to bring him back & just make him intolerable.
Thank goodness for the scene after the credits, as it was the only thing that was really interesting in this episode. It was disappointing.

hum.. a mid-season finale that was kind of.. I guess filler? They should of just stopped at last weeks ep and made that the mid-season finale, it had more cliff hanger like elements.
Carol and Morgan show down was just lame.. Their characters work fine being all bad ass on zombies but show down wise that was like watching a couple of parents snip at each other over a parking spot at wal-mart.
Akkk if that's all the show had to work with maybe they should of held off the Glenn issue for a few more eps. Oh well we are all still watching the show and that's all AMC really cares about.
edit.. oh and that new annoying kid, it's Carl 2.0 damn it...

Thought it was a good midseason finale, not great. But if my memory serves me correct isn't the season finale always alot bigger then the midseason finale in terms of everything?

Did the kid look like this in the last few eps too? I did not pay much attention to his over all story line being it was just a kid being a brat upstairs. Yet he looked like a normal sort of kid..
where as now now they have him made up like he is crashing down from a month long Mountain Dew fueled kiddy bender.

Anyone catch Talking Dead at 11:00? The actress who played Deanna pretty much called out Kirkman on the couch for killing her. It was pretty awkward as you could tell she was pissed they killed her. She said, "They killed me too early," and "They never should have killed me." And Kirkman just sits there awkwardly like he did when the actress who played Beth was on after her death and started crying uncontrollably.
Although the actress who played Deanna did have one funny line on Talking Dead, "OK, who do I have to sleep with to get a flashback scene next year?"

I was underwhelmed with this episode. The walkers are everywhere, but only one person bit it.
It should get interesting once Negan is in the mix.

They started the season too strong. The first 2-4 episodes were really amazing. And then...
This is TWD, it's a show about zombies, don't use your brain while watching, etc. but this episode didn't have any logic. Maybe it's the way it was directed. Not a great work there.
Anyways, second half should be fine.

Negan will change everything.
honestly, the show should be called "walking dead: walls will never stand"

Aside from Morgan becoming a complete idiot I thought it was great. The best season since the first thus far imho.

The clip during In to the Badlands? Yes, and I stand by my statement.
I know it's typical for zombie shows and movies, but one thing that bugged me is the way the zombies came in after the tower collapsed. Seems like they should have slowly entered from that one specific location, but the way the showed it on the show made everyone surrounded pretty quickly when it should have been pretty easy for everyone to run. I kind of chuckled at the shot of everyone making it to Jessie's house with no zombies anywhere near them suddenly.
Although I also realized i've been prouncing Negan wrong in my head from the comics all this time.

Can an episode of a season truly be considered a "filler" episode when the majority of episodes are "filler"?

at everyone in this thread frothing at the mouth because everyone in this show is not a zombie-killing terminator.

Good god I don't think I've ever seen an 8-episode stretch of any TV show where this little happened. I'll watch the second half premiere but if it's not knocking it out of the park I think I'm finally done with this show.
The ratings are (slowly) starting to drop, too, so this might be the beginning of the end for TWD.

Future generations will watch The Walking Dead on their hologram displays and wonder why this show was ever popular. I get the feeling it will be one of those once popular things that won't be discussed much in ten years.
