@wilw: Saturday Night Live debuted 40 years ago today. 39 years and 51 weeks ago, people started complaining that it isn’t as good as it used to be.

Last night was Amy Schumer.
Great monologue that was really just a huge chunk of stand-up.
I didn't think too much of the sketches. Nothing stood out as god awful, but nothing stood out as very funny either. Seems like there was a lot of yelling in the sketches, and a lot more Kyle Mooney than usual.
Cecily Strong didn't show up until after Update. Thank God that they did not jam Schumer into another edition of The Girlfriends Talk Show, but CS's lack of screen time seems odd.
Schumer did not show any more skin than what you can see in the photo, so I guess interest in this episode was down compared to Miley.

I thought the first half wasn't bad, and Schumer did a good job. Weekend Update (as usual) and everything after was pretty terrible.

They need to get new people on Weekend Update ASAP. Make a mid-season change. Anything would be better than the two fuckers they got on there now.

Kate McKinnon and her annoying characters are in danger of becoming the next Kristin Wiig.
Ended up FFing the one she did for, like, ten minutes on WU.

I found Schumer typically nasty. Nonetheless, I was surprised she got all that pass the censors...However, I do like her stand up etc. the Bradly Cooper part...funny girl.
