These assholes didn't lock the main gate as they left. They probably got everybody in that compound killed.

So the heroes of this story created a diversion that killed dozens (if not hundreds) of people to retrieve two people?

I thought the finale was really good. Glad they are finally all aware of the situation.

It seemed like the military was just going to leave. They were even going take the hurt people that they could still save. These guys could have just walked in after the military left. They just caused the deaths of maybe hundred of more people for nothing.

I enjoyed this episode. Though it did have it's silly moments...
In the end though everyone seems to have finally come to grips with their new reality.

Yeah, pretty hard to ignore that the "hero" group needlessly slaughtered hundreds of innocent people through utter stupidity. Nothing much to like about the group at all, though Strand is an interesting new character. Wouldn't be bothered to see any of them get offed.

I'm still confused on why they bothered to keep anyone even locked in a cage anyway.
Eh, It's over, This episode had a lot more of what the rest of the season should of had. Scope on the situation in Los Angeles.
And yet they're still not communicating between characters to express the point of why they are doing what they are doing and causing pointless tension that way.

The scene where
There was nothing there. Everyone already complains that there is no emotional connection between the viewers and the characters so whatever they were going for there just wasn't happening.

Should had let the soldier killed his daughter. Free the zombies to create a diversion that lead to killing countless lives was BS.

I hate to say it, but this was so bad that it sort of killed any excitement I had for The Walking Dead premiere.

That was easily the best episode of the six. Had the other five been that good, this would have been a much better first season.

My thoughts exactly. I just don't care about any of these people. I actually would have loved it if the show was ballsy enough to kill off the entire group in the finale. Then season 2 could follow Strand instead.

All I could think of while watching the scenes at Strand's house is that he's Franklin from GTAV all grown up. Must be the gamer geek in me but everything about his house seemed familiar.

I'm hoping that Strand is somehow responsible for the outbreak. He's the only character on this show that is half-way interesting.

We're missing the stereo system that's always on and can't play anything but rap. And big piles of dog crap in the yards because Strand never takes Chop for a walk. Other than that ... pretty spot on

What a bunch of assholes.
Well, the whole season was pretty much shit.
When does season 2 start?

Was anyone else annoyed by awful the CGI of the ship was? Seriously, you can't find some stock footage of a ship to use?

Though the biggest bothersome question is why Junkie kept the old man's, who died in the hospital, clothes. He was home and could have changed at any moment. To make matters worse he changed into a bathing suit to swim, then put the old mans clothes back on AGAIN!

The best episode of the season by far... but that's not really saying much, is it?
Almost seems like this group is ultimately responsible for California being overrun by walkers. The containment was broken by them which could've directly escalated to other areas. We can call the group "Ground Zero Assholes".
So at this point these zombies haven't been given a name yet. And we've seen in TWD that even within close proximity in Georgia, different groups had different names for these things... the term "walkers" was only used by the main group in that show. I guess someone will magically/coincidentally come up with the term "walkers" in order to keep FTWD title more relevant?
