It will be interesting to see who they cast as Ryan's girlfriend/wife Cathy.

Same goes with Admiral Greer (if they add the character)

and I'll be curious to see if this series makes it a Ryan origin story and his beginnings in the CIA.

If this was picked up for 10 episodes, does that mean there won't be voting by way of an Amazon pilot batch?

I wonder when they'd release all 10 - maybe May after everything else has wrapped up?

Peter Fonda joined the cast as a guest star. He will be in at least 1 episode with the potential for more.

They filmed from February to the end of June.

I'm not sure how I'll feel having Jack Ryan mug for the camera every time a terrorist says or does something silly.

I was just looking up how old he was because The Office ran for so long and he's just now 37. He started as Jim at 26 or so.

(Jenna Fischer is currently 43 and Rainn Wilson is 51, weird how TV can do that thing with ages).

Krasinski is actually a decent actor but not sure if I see him as Jack Ryan. It's too bad the last film with Chris Pine didn't do better as I thought he was pretty good and the film was decent.

In 13 Hours, when Krasinski dead-panned at the camera, I lost all investment in the movie

I don’t think I’m familiar wit anybody going into this, so I don’t have a strong opinion except for I’ve liked several of the films.

I hope the lead is good, but he seems a bit off. I don’t think I’m sold on the analyst out in the field angle, but I agree the get on the plane line was funny.

Without comedy, I’m almost feel like he’s an impersonator of Zach Levi as Chuck.
