The respect wood thing was a joke on one of the episodes. Wood was being disrespected by people not using coasters on coffee tables. If I recall correctly it was also the deal breaker for Larry and Cheryl getting back together in season seven because he saw her put a drink down and not use a coaster. The marquee might be in reference to season four which had Larry starring in a broadway production of The Producers. One thing I'm not clear on, is the new season back in Los Angeles or is it still in New York? He kind of looks like he's in New York in that promo.

There is a great oral history of Curb on the Origins podcast that went up over the last week or so. It's got all the main cast involved including Larry. I'm about halfway through and I think it's 5 or so hours long. Some fascinating stuff.

Just a few days away. I enjoyed Larry's appearance this week on Seth Meyers. Had a good interview and a long skit where he's a writer on the show.

I tried getting HBO through Sling on my Fire Stick and it was not cooperating, so I went back to subscribing through PS Vue which is quick and painless.
