Re: Big Brother 17--Premieres 6/24/2015

I can't even watch the live feeds anymore. James & Meg might be the two dumbest people who ever lived. Clay is a fucking genius compared to these two idiots. Clay has begged and cried for people to evict him now because he doesn't want to be forced to spend the next 6 weeks in Jury, and the idiots are buying it. THIS ISN'T PRISON! CLAY CAN LEAVE THIS GAME ANYTIME HE WANTS! NO ONE IS FORCING HIM TO STAY! YOU GUYS SHOULD STICK WITH THE PLAN AND EVICT SHELLI, AND CLAY CAN FOLLOW HER ASS OUT THE DAMN DOOR! THEY CAN BOTH SHARE A FUCKING CAB TO THE AIRPORT AND SPEND THE REST OF THEIR SMUG ENTITLED LIVES TOGETHER!

Glad I could get that off my chest.

Re: Big Brother 17--Premieres 6/24/2015

The way that Clay and Shelli were carrying on about being separated was the exact reason the house NEEDS to separate them. If they were smart, they'd act like they hate each other.

I thought it was ridiculous how Shelli was whining about how on earth she was going to live without Clay. WTF - she just met him a few weeks ago.

Snap out of it!

i'm not following the feeds, what was the deal with Clay and Meg?

I stopped watching this weeks ago and I've been letting it pile up on my DVR. Been following by reading jokers.

Not sure if I'll end up binge watching this later or just delete it. This has to be the most boring group they've ever assembled; I don't think there's a single personality between all of these putzes.

I disagree completely. I think this is the best season in years. It's certainly better than last year's boring Derrick controlled game, and all of the repellent HGs spouting racist/quasi-racist things in season 15.

I think it's easily the best season of all new players since season 10.

That was my initial impression as well but things have gotten interesting the past couple weeks.

Clay and Shelli must not have watched the show before; a power couple so blatantly joined at the hip was obviously going to paint a giant bullseye - no clue what they were thinking.

Wednesday's show had some of it, but Jokers skipped it, so here's what Morty's had:

6:10PM BBT: Meg refuses to promise Clay her vote to evict him. He asks her why and she says she has no idea what's going to happen but she won't vote to evict him. She starts to get mad that he would ask her.

Meg says she believes in Clay more than Shelli and will not vote him out. Clay says she needs to not say that. Meg is pissed that he wants to go home. She is mad that he says he'll have no one if Shelli leaves. She calls him a pussy for saying that. Meg says you know how I feel about you, and everyone else can vote you out, but I will not do that.

6:12PM BBT: Clay goes into the bathroom, still wearing his knight suit from PoV competition, and Meg follows him. They act like they had liquor at [the] competition Johnny Mac said [that] he was drunk [from] earlier.

Clay brings her in for a hug, they start blubbering, Clay asks Meg to vote him out and, while crying, she hits him. Meg tells him to STOP, that he can't ask that of her. She tells him if he wants out to look around the house but not at her, she can't do that.

They start whispering. I caught Meg saying "I am giving you tough love baby, it's not up to you anymore. If I am in jury and you are final two - you are getting my vote, so stop acting like this, you came in here alone and you came to play.... I know you don't want to hear this, but Shelli's game is better, my peeps want her out... You had to go off with your lady friend... you are campaigning to the wrong person..." She says she loves that Shelli makes Clay happy, but when it comes down to it, she loves Clay more. The only thing I caught from Clay was" "Don't tell anybody about this..." They, hug, hug, cry, sniffle, mumble... they split up.

Shelli seems like an emotional trainwreck (not to be judgmental ) I could see her crying over trying to figure out what cereal to eat in the morning fearing the cereal she doesn't choose will feel left out.

I can't believe the vote for Clay was unanimous and dumb and dumber couldn't figure out why Vanessa was pushing so hard for Clay. James and Meg (and Jackie) should be evicted for stupidity. I imagine one might actually get carried along when the power players start gunning for each other.

Something happened Thursday afternoon that may or may not make the show on Sunday that led to Clay being evicted unanimously. That is why John said it's been a weird day when he voted.

I was wondering about that. I guess I won't ask for spoilers if there's a chance it'll be in Sunday's episode.

Thanks. I sometimes read the other thread as they obviously edit the show heavily to maintain drama (and then come out with the info later on).

It just seemed like a huge misdirect based on how the show on Thursday was edited so it leads to the conclusion people were being idiots.... but something happening makes more sense - guess I'll see Sunday.

EDIT: Second JuryDuty's thank you to the live feed watchers who post the HOH winners on stuff that runs over.

Re: Big Brother 17--Premieres 6/24/2015

Note that the pre-recorded parts of the live shows are edited in advance of any drama right before the eviction, so it's not possible to include stuff that happens Thursday afternoon. Occasionally they'll have "shortly before eviction" segments on the Sunday show.

Shelli has mentioned several times how much Clay looks like her brother. Wow. Shelli is a stone cold freak.

Man, it is difficult to not open the Big Brother After Dark thread and start reading. On weeks like this where it pops up on the TV Talk page again and again, you can't help but wonder if interesting stuff is happening...

Yes.

And b/c of double eviction there won't be nearly enough time tomorrow to cover all that's happened since the veto meeting.

Yeah, and that's a shame. I think that those people who only watch the episodes are really missing out by not seeing a lot of the thought processes that have gone on in the last few days, from a variety of players. We've gotten some real insight into the intelligence (or lack) and character (or lack) of some of these players.

What I usually do is go into the After Dark thread after Thursday's show, because at that point, we're on the same timeline. Then maybe I can catch up a bit on what's "really" happening. I appreciate you guys keeping us in the know!

Watching last night's show, it's worth noting that Shelli and Vanessa have talked in the house about having figured out which chip in the bag is houseguest choice by the way it feels. No matter what she said in the DR, she pulled that chip deliberately.

Re: Big Brother 17--Premieres 6/24/2015

Just a heads up, my DVR has this scheduled to record at 11:38 tonight. I'm on the west coast (LA) but according to my channel guide, the Cowboys/Chargers game will be on during primetime. I had to set the recording myself (Uverse).
