First episode was good. Gave you the backstory without spending forever on it. The fight choreography is ridiculously good. Both major fights were very well done. I liked the little nods, like the poster in the gym that was Murdock vs. Creel. I assume that's Crusher Creel aka Absorbing Man.

Not even. Went to a how Thursday night. I thought it would premiere last night at 9pm PST and then got the buzzkill that it'd be at midnight, so I went to bed instead. Being tired and hungover from the previous night was incidental.

Was able to catch 3 eps before crashing, it was up at 9pm local time so being in the middle of the pacific worked out for a change. Liked it way better than Agents of SHIELD, good fight choreography if a bit dark. Looking forward to binging the rest over the weekend.

No spoilers but don't ever embarrass the Kingpin. I can't believe what I saw!

Also, kudos for the Avenger character mentions throughout the series. Looks like DD exists in the same universe. Oh, and Charlie Cox sounds just like Corey Stoll. Same voice.

It's been known forever that these five Netflix series are in the MCU canon.

I have only seen the first episode so far, but there are a couple mentions of the "New York incident" from the first Avengers movie in that episode. So the Daredevil series takes place sometime after that movie.


I hope so.

Avengers + Defenders + Guardians of the Galaxy all versus Thanos would be freaking epic.

Although that would be an enormous roster for one movie, so I don't know how well it would actually work in practice.
