I was expecting the urn to fall too.

I thought it was a good episode, contrary to what most think here.

I loved Bernadette in this one. Loved the "great, now its going to end up in my bedroom" line.

My nephew is a wanna-be actor and was recently at a dinner party with Kaley Cuoco. Apparently his agent knows her agent and got them invited. Character actress Jenny O'Hara was also there.

I asked if she takes much flak about her hair and he said she looks really good in person with the short hair. To no ones surprise, she is just like her character. She is very much herself on the show. I asked if he got her number so I could call her and cause a big Hollywood scandal by banging her and breaking up her marriage, but he never got her number.

Totally makes for a better show if Sheldon is a better match for Penny, and Leonard is better with Amy, but they never go there because in both cases they have become like bother and sister.

I think Sheldon and Penny work better together personally. At this point they've made them too much like brother and sister, but I think they have better chemistry together. Not sure if I agree about Leonard and Amy making a good couple though.

Does anyone think Penny betrayed Sheldon by telling the rest of the gang it was his birthday, and giving him a surprise party, too?

I just haven't seen a lot of chemistry between them like there has been with Sheldon and Penny. Not that it'll ever happen but if Leonard and Amy weren't in the picture you could easily pair up Sheldon and Penny if you ask me.

Wolowitz is the horndog. Leonard seems pretty average.

I also don't agree what Penny & Sheldon would be a better pair. She's a social person and Sheldon is, well, not. Penny & Leonard can go out for the night and have a good time. Going out with Sheldon would be a nightmare.

They seem to be more able to make their common interests benefit the relationship. IMO, in every way Amy is a good match for Sheldon, she is a better match for Leonard.

It's filmed before a live audience. They may sweeten the laughter at times (because no matter how funny something is, you won't laugh as hard after the fourth take), but most of the laughter is from a live audience.

It's gotta be a combination of both. I noticed a few points like HN referred to regarding Sheldon. Shit that wasn't remotely funny, yet sure enough there was mild laugh track in the background.
